BR starts are such fucking ass. I really hope 343 keeps that in its own separate playlist in the full release,
Care to explain why?
BR starts are great. A precision weapon for professionals.

Assassination animations are just terrible from a gameplay perspective. You sneak up behind an enemy for what should be an easy kill but instead you get locked into this animation that allows the enemy team enough time to kill you while you're defenseless.

The amount of times me and the opponent kill each other in this game is off the charts. Its so annoying.

It's hilarious that this is an issue in a competive 4v4 shooter in 2015. There is no reason for low tickrate servers or bad pings. The amount of times me and the opponent kill each other in this game is off the charts. Its so annoying.
where's my 128 tick server at
They should do what Reach did: hold RB for assassination, tap for beat down.
This is Halo after all.
64?128 tick will just crash these servers![]()
Man this matchmaking is terrible. Wtf are these guys doing.
Yeah I noticed that. Blue blends in all dim and dark places. Not just in Eden, but also those caves in Regret, like when you are at the outside shooting Blue inside.Gotta love the coconut crack headshot sound
Red has disadvantage across the board, so far they stick out prominently on all the maps we have seen and Blue blends in as it's less vibrant.
Red has always had a disadvantage due to the human brain being better at distinguishing it due to evolution, though in practise this can be mostly negated in games by making blue more vibrant.
Yep, it is garbage, so many times 1 dude will drop and it's either wait 10 mins or back out using party trick.
But you can't complain because 'beta'
That's exactly how it is in Halo 5.They should do what Reach did: hold RB for assassination, tap for beat down.

Got a nice 4 kill to win the round in Breakout that ended with a Triple Kill, Killing Spree, Extinction, Trifecta. Well I really just was in the right place at the right time

Is it? Because I try lightly tapping but I always enter the assassination animation anyway. I'l have to focus on that more then. Either way I think we should be given the option to turn them off.
Ya, it's the same as Reach. I haven't had a problem with this and have been playing for 20 hours.
Ok well good info to know at least. Thanks. Have to quit mashing that button then but in the heat of battle that's kind of tough lol

Anyway I went in solo most of the night and man it was rough. Went from Onyx 3 to Onyx 1 and almost hit gold. I haven't quite figured out how I should be playing these new maps just yet. Finding myself out of position a good bit.

What's the party trick? I usually have to quit out the game because it takes so long.

I don't know if it's still this way but in the Halo 3 days, a lot of high tier players would warm up on a higher sensitivity and then turn it down to their normal one. I think most pros are right around 3 too.Ya, I'm in a similar situation. I'm Onyx 1 right now but these new maps seem more confusing than the previous 2. Still getting used to them.
The one big problem I'm having is aiming. I'm typically a good Halo player but I suck with the BR and the DMR.... I Have my sensitivity to 3 right now. Any of the pros recommend me increase it and get more familiar with a higher number? Or would you guys say that this is personal preference?

If Remixed maps are taking place of crappy Forge maps, I'm all for it.

Does not compute...
The best thing about this game is the reduced aim-assist.
I'm amazed at the polish in this beta for being about a year out. It's obviously rough in some aspects. But dat gunplay....they nailed it.
Female Spartan with the aviator armor has a nice ass.
