Just found my package from Gamestop on my doorstep.
And now that I have pit I can open up my Captain Falcon since I was keeping him closed in case I would have to trade for Pit. Pretty much done hunting for now. Ike and Shulk on Gamestop pre-order. And Rosalina on import pre-order. I might go ahead and put in a pre-order for Sonic too.

Best Buy just shipped my Captain Falcon. This was a result of my in store pick up being notified as unavailable the day before release and me calling to change it to be shipped. I think Best Buy might have screwed someone out of their Pit and Captain Falcon.

I thought I remember reading before that someone noticed that the Amiibos are coming out in order of their appearance/numbering system that the Smash site/game use.
So theoretically, the next wave should have Zero Suit Samus, Charizard, Greninja, Robin. And then obviously more if they don't want like 10 waves. Maybe Pac, Ganondorf, or Ness or something.

The first rows are combinations of Waves 1 and 2. It doesn't really work for the character select screen either.

If you didnt preordered you are out of luck, Manager told me Latamel is sending most of their stiock to USA because thats the "priority market"
In other words, they prioritize whom ever gives them the most money. Hence why Wave 2 is so staggered. Not to mention Gameplanet is shit.

Thanks for the tip. I grabbed Marth, Fox, and Pit from amazon.de, they had Villager from alternate sellers at a decent price but it seems only Amazon would ship to the US.

Heh. I have passed that phase and resorted to importing. Gotta say that I prefer the EU packaging over the US version anyway. God willing I will get a Marth with a straight sword unlike the JPN one I got that has boomerang-sword.

I just got off the phone with Best Buy. They said that my Pit and Captain Falcon are definitely not cancelled, and that I should be hearing about them being shipped to me by Wednesday. They said that the problem wasn't shortages (as I'd pre-ordered them a while back), but simply that they could only ship out so many at a time and there's been an initial rush.
If anyone else is waiting for Best Buy shipping, you might be in the same boat. They said to call back if I didn't hear anything by the end of Wednesday.

I mean we can send a message and not buy from them but how many are that adamant though? This is just disgusting.

Just search on Chicago craiglist for amiibo - you can't miss it. What I don't get is how this guy got all of these. Is it possible to really get this many hard to find amiibos if you're a "pro" scalper?

Amazon did put a limit recently, but maybe he was smart and preordered all this before the amiibo craze was at full power? I don't remember there been a limit before.
Got a person in my area with a box of Capt. Falcons on Craigslist. Box is the same the ones that my local target brought out when they were just stocking the shelves. I would assume they bought everything the store had.
Okay scalping 1 or 2 of something is one thing. But this much? Now this is beyond words.
