Am I the only one that liked the old Fate/Stay Night, Unlimited Blade Works, and Fate Zero? I even liked the Illy spin offs lol
And as for the question of people like it? The characters, the music, the great animation, the interesting plot, etc... Seeing some of the greatest heroes and villains of all time coming back to life in our modern world is an interesting idea and the fights are awesome (in my opinion). Plus it's fun watching the show trying to figure out the identity of the servants and I also enjoy seeing how the characters interact.
And as for the question of people like it? The characters, the music, the great animation, the interesting plot, etc... I generally like all of them to some degree.
Fate Zero was the most impressive and only one I was willing to part with $650 for but overall not bad.

I think Crunchyroll's going to pick up the two TBS shows (Fafnir and Graffiti), and DOG DAYS''. I can see Maria and Yatterman ending up with them as well, as well as Isuca. Kadokawa series have pretty reliably been streamed.
I'm curious if anybody's going to get Miritari, as well as Psychosomatic Medicine - though I'm mostly interested in the latter because Mayayan is doing the theme song.

Though I'm not so much looking forward to it for the food stuff, but simply because it's a Manga Time Kirara series. Many of my favorite anime have come from there. This is just the first time Shaft is doing one since Hidamari Sketch.

Hey if your still up for a recommendation for a long anime series. I recommend D-Gray Man, it's 103 episodes in total.
The beginning is a bit slow due to filler, but right about episode 51 does it start getting real good and interesting. It also contains some fantastic Openings and Endings.

Ikuhara returns in his glory to save anime immediately and permanently.
I believe that "It looks like no one has noticed that we're actually bears." is the best line of dialogue since "You didn't think you were the only one who could turn into a car, did you?" And it doesn't let up from there. This is a batshit insane premise mixed together with a lot of yuri, and many of Ikuhara's favorite reccuring motifs. Oh, and that's all before we get to the greatest trial scene in any work of fiction ever.
The art for the show is very nice. While this isn't the best looking show ever made, the designs are incredibly strong, and those go a very long way. Every part of this production feels like an Ikuhara show in the best ways possible.
I have no clue where things will go from here, but it should be a very special show.

By a little bit. "The G-Self is currently in the process of being stolen" is a fantastic line, and definitely top 5, but what really sold it was the delivery of the line more than anything else.
"The world is not square" is also a strong contender. Really, G-Reco has had a lot of amazing lines that are at least close to that level.

It had a nice little adventure feel to it. Plus Perrine going so far to try to get money to repair the bridge for the kids was sweet.

I was dying everytime I saw the choice 'Put it in'. I was hoping that was an option that was going to be used at some point. Other than that, choice 3 was only used once, and given what it was, I can't blame him!

Shirobako 1-4
So far, so good. This is actually a pretty good anime.
Things I like
- Characterization is generally good and down-to-earth despite the irony of the fact that the majority of the characters are working on really derivative pieces of work.

Kidnapped by the government, and tortured for information he doesn't possess, escape is his only hope for survival. Chirico breaks out, a man without a war, without a government, without a home.
This is a great pilot episode: efficient, action-packed, and meaningful. One might mistake Chirico's shock at what his comrades are doing for naivete, but that's countered both by his monologue at the start, and by his willingness to kill shortly afterwards. He's already a hero that I want to root for.
This feels like the kind of anime that everyone thinks happened all the time in the 80s and 90s, except not in a cheap, puerile way.

it came out well before Puni Puni poemy. Actually ppp is like episode 26 of Excel Saga where they purposefully pushed the censorship envelope.
The english VA for Excel actually blew out her vocal chords trying to keep up.
That comment reminded me of the great Anipages article about VOTOMS. At a glance, largely spoiler free until the individual OVA entries.

This episode communicates the dire situation of a relentlessly long war so effectively. Everything is expressed through the piercing eyes of the soldiers and robots alike. Everyone is desperate whether it be through lack of communication or deceptively gray motives and actions. You really feel like you've been dropped right into the middle of a larger event than it may seem both through the in media res-esque introduction as well as the teases of ruined cities littered with outlaws in the preview.
And the music oozes class too. Aw yes.
