I have an extra Cpt falcon id be willing to trade, but I wouldnt send it out until I got the other persons Amiibo first.. which I doubt anyone is willing to do.

Would be willing to do it for a Fox. Just saying.

Just making sure about something.. but the Link with the clear stand never made it into production right? Cause he sure does look alot better than the current amiibo in stores..
 
Sorry if it has been answered, but are the missing wave 1 figures (WFT, Marth, Villager) DEFINITIVELY discontinued? It's been a bit unclear for me.

Nobody knows. Nintendo is not being forthcoming. They say certain amiibos "could" be brought back which pretty much says nothing like typical PR talk.

My guess is, no they won't be. Right now Marth and WFT can be imported but don't expect that to last long.
 
Best buy gave me a generic response about my Capt Falcon mangled box. Guess I'm stuck with it. :/ I will never ever find one at retail since I've never seen one in Vancouver Canada.
 
Got my captain falcon FINALLY and of course, TRU completely messes up the shipping. The box is so dented I'm honestly surprised the figure isn't damaged. Ugh.... Whats the standard for returning things to TRU? And will they send me another? I want an undamaged figure AND box and it really pisses me off that they damaged this and now because I didn't order from anywhere else, I fear I may be stuck with this.

While the current Link definitely looks like he looking down, you should take the picture with the current Link amiibo perfectly straight like the prototype picture so the comparison could be better. Your current picture of the Link amiibo is kind of angled

Link having the ugliest possible stand is probably a bigger crime than supply issues.

It's not but it's so BAD

I could have tolerated the stand, terrible as it is, but the positioning of the chracter drives me nuts. You can't see his face w/o looking from underneath the figure.
 
So what're the chances that Target, GameStop, etc. will have extras of their exclusive amiibo on the shelves on release day? Thinking I might get lucky at Target & GS with Rosalina & Shulk.

They will limely sell like hotcakes IMHO. Be there at opening come 2/1.

With as much as Target limited their stock online, I'm confident they will have Rosalinas on the shelves on release day. Gamestop though I'm not as confident. They had Shulk up for a long while.

Jesus. Glad you're ok. Unfortunately I think MKs are sold out everywhere. I looked recently and couldn't find any place to order it from. You're best bet at this point is trying Best Buy when they hit stores.

I just received one each for both Pit and Captain Falcon, even though they were in the same order. They did not get reinstated (guessing because of PayPal policies again) and people who ordered long after me had theirs fulfilled, so I have no idea what to expect for Wave 3 at this point.

Yeah, might grab Rosalina for myself since she might be usable in a few upcoming Mario games & maybe a spare for a friend.

I don't have a BB near me but might have a friend help me out with Meta Knight since I wouldn't mind using him in Kirby & Rainbow Curse.

Shulk @ GS: 100% sold out online and in store preorders. In stores on day of, it's rumored they will only have enough for preorders and will have more in store for regular sale at a later time. GameStop is going to hoard them.

Overall, good luck getting any of them. I hope I'm wrong and it's super easy.... With that being said, order whatever you can overseas if you don't want to go through hell at the four stores above. If you order any of the above overseas, order Rosalina, she's gona be CRAZY to get here, maybe impossible.

Ugh I'm excited and dreading 2/1 at the same time. I hope I manage somehow to get them all. Any BAY AREA peeps want to team up??
 
I just got a box cutter out.

Is it happening? Am I really going to open some amiibos?

If anything, Ill open the non rares like Mario and Peach. Im hoping I can find a good opening guide that preserves the boxes but also allows me to take the figure out of the box easily.
 
I just noticed that. To be fair, Sheik, Toon Link, and Bowser were up for a long ass time.

I can't think of a reason for Amazon to limit stock like the brick & mortar retailers, however. I wonder how many amiibo they were allotted.

Lucario is pretty much the only exclusive amiibo you can still import. One place I saw has Rosalina still and she is currently the number one seller in the video game category there; it's only a matter of time. I have yet to come across a Shulk or MK in my searches.

Doing better now thanks, just having to go to therapy to get my arm working again normally due to it being in a cast last month.

Nearest BB is a bit far away so I guess I'll see if they restock online.
 
Toysrus reinstated my cfalcon order too but they didn't mention any form of compensation for the inconvenience. That's bs lol. Also I already received my amazon falcon order today anyways...

I'm guessing those that got it for free had their orders cancelled on them twice. I ordered back in nov. It got cancelled. then got it reinstated. Then they cancelled again and now they are reinstating again for free.

I think this is now yhe 3rd time a large number of GAFers have had this issue with TRU and each time the orders get reinstated it seems. Same thing happened with my wave 3 orders and most everyone's Lucarios.
 
Oh shit, mine says it's free. I guess that's why it still shows cancelled on Toysrus.com. Free amiibos and $15 off code - not bad.
