Seriously though, be careful who you give it to. He lurks and borrows people's accounts and creates new ones. We found out a good amount of info on him so make sure you don't ship to that location, could be him.

I keep remembering launch day.
I had all of wave one in my shopping cart but for some reason, I put them all back.
Then I went to Target and had a WFT, Marth, and Villager in my hand but I decided to put them back, lol.

I think Marth is the only one, but I can't be sure. I pre-ordered all of my Wave 1s at a local store and they had a Marth behind the counter (where all of their Amiibos are), but could have been for someone else's pre-order. Once I had them all, I wasn't really looking anymore, but I can't remember ever seeing another Marth.
I technically have not seen Captain Falcon. The one I got at Target was the last one, but I didn't see it until a clerk grabbed it before I could see it. She grabbed it to hold for someone else, but ended up giving it to me since I was actually in the store. I might still be looking for him otherwise.
The day I picked up Little Mac, I saw 4 or 5 others there. Haven't seen one since. I got Pit last Saturday and there was one left, but it was sold 5 minutes later.

It wouldn't surprise me if he claimed that anyway, it's just the type of person he is. I think the bigger tragedy would be letting him win. We can't start to doubt are fellow amiibros and amiigals.

Technically the closest we've gotten "official" word is comments from GameStop that they have him marked as discontinued in their system, and likely that's closest we'll ever get.

Most of GAF knows me because I went through a year long battle with cancer and recently beat it! And yes, we should start rep our Amiibo community
I used a character from Miyazakis the Wind Rises, then took the logo but erased the text (couldn't find a place to fit it). Also I like the Amiibo marks on their own. Maybe if people want, they can use the same marks minus the font so it can fit in most avatars.EDIT: here is the logo I used w/ transparent:

Side note:
How do you guys feel about the Japanese vs US versions? Originally, I only wanted US versions. Because the boxes (I wanted them all to be the same font). Butt I'm wondering if I 'm being picky. I'm not actually buying these to make money. I'm buying them purely to enjoy.
Up to this point, I've kept them in a box. I'm thinking, I'm going to just get a cabinet, and take them out of the box. And in that sense, there is no difference between the Japanese and US versions right?
I think I'm being picky with the Japanese vs US editions. What do you guys think?

I try to make others happy. I want to make people happy and make their day brighter. That's what I want to do with my life. With my second chance at life.
I don´t care about the boxes, so I just teared them open and enjoy the figures in the game. Then I display the teared boxes in my main glass display case with all the other amiibos on hold I have for my costumers, when people see the boxes they think for a second that I have them available to then realize its just the boxes. I can see their heart broke in real time and it gives me the giggles.
I think i´m kind of a jerk.
Edit: About the cancer thing... its so great you made it, it seems like a hard ordeal and cancer is so hard in everyone, we all should live our lives to the fullest, that is for sure.

Man, I'm having such a hard time getting a damn case/shelf for these. Over at reddit/anime they said Detolf cases at Ikea are what people use. These:

Been searching for hours and hours on Amazon and other sites. There is legit, nothing. They are either really ugly, or just insanely expensive. So I guess for now, I'm SOL. I was kind of looking forward to taking these out of the box and displaying them in a case. Butt looks like for now, I can't. I'm getting really sad.
Maybe I need to just go to a local furniture store? Maybe some place shitty like Wal Mart maybe even? I dunno. Target? Maybe I'll get lucky and one of those places will randomly have a case or shelf. But jesus, just no luck.

Damn, well said. I respect your outlook on life to the fullest. Your courage and strength is shown with just your words and that's not easy to do.
As for the Amiibo, yeah doesn't make any difference maybe except Marth. I feel like the Japanese ones have a higher chance or Derpy Marth. But it's been proven time and time again with pics that even the text on the bottom of the figure are the same. Only difference between EU, JAPAN, and US is the packaging.
I like to open my Amiibos. Allows you to do so much more with them and they take up a lot less space. Since Japanese and Domestic Amiibo are identical (except for the packaging), I say get 'em whereever they're cheapest.
Ive only opened 2 so far. Been training Pikachu and Mario. Pika is only like lvl 35 and its kicking my ass.
But ive been opening them using an exacto knife, saving the boxes. That way, when i want to display them, I can still do so in the box without anyone really knowing they arent fully boxed.
Also - just checked my amazon.de order of the holy trinity and.... theyre officially in my state.

Never really showed anyone online my case yet as its imcomplete, but here's my case. I plan on adding an extra shelf for the Amiibo of course. Sorry bad lighting at night. Oh well. First pic with my camera flash, second with the flash plus the color changing LEDS I put inside.

I wish I had an Ikea near me. It's insane how hard it is to get a damn shelf. lol I'm amazed how little choices I have online, and how ridiculous the prices are (especially with shipping).
I've just come to realize, it's not practical keeping all these amiibos in the box. And I want to take them out. But I really can't, until I get a case. If anyone knows of a good case, let me know.

Finally popped my amiibo cherry with Zelda. I am telling myself that I am only going to get the Zelda-related figures (preordered Sheik and Toon Link) but we shall see.
That was what I told myself at first too.

Amiibos are like Pokemon. You can't survive with just one, you're gonna want to catch them all, and you will have to go to far off places to find the rare ones.

Double edit: My friend has one and says he doesn't have the pain issue you have (what was shown in that pic). But a GAF poster below says they have it too. STRANGE. Guess Pit Amiibo had some issues with quality.

Unfortunately, I don't have a picture at this time. Basically, his right hand looks gray while his left hand properly matches the rest of his skin tone. It's REALLY bugging me.
Doesn't sound normal to me. Might be a defect.
