Samus is available where I am near the GTA. No Fox though, although I already got him and Link back when amiibos came out.

Drove 3 hours to an IKEA and got my fancy display case. omg it's beautiful. Going to take all the amiibos out of the box tonight and put them in this display case. I'm so excited. I'll take pics later.

Or you could 3D print one with holders so your Amiibos fit in smugly.
I will. Honestly, just after everything I've been through this year. The cancer, issues with my family. And recently was having a hard time emotionally dealing with everything even after going into remission. Collecting Amiibos and making friends and being apart of this community pulled me out my despair and helped make things brighter. Can't thank you guys enough. I'll never forget this :*)
I'll post pics when it's all done. I need to get lighting for it. My room has poor lighting at night and I have nothing in the case (I mean lights wise). So keep that in mind when I do take pics tonight. I'd consider waiting until tomorrow during the day, but I don't want to make you guys wait.
I'll get some fancy lighting soon too. Also they sell the staircase platforms that can go on the shelves, so I'll be getting those too. But for now, it will just be the vanilla display. Still beautiful.
Is there any order I should put them in guys? Maybe the order of the roster? The order of each wave: release?
I was able to preorder waves 1-3 easy enough on amazon but now that the amiibo thirst is here I'm worried future sets will sell out faster then the Majoras Mask LE.
As long as they announce them enough in advance, I really don't think it'll be a problem to pre-order. If these rumors about Majora's Mask releasing as early as February and March are true, the LE was announced at a pretty shitty time for pre-ordering to begin with.
If its the detolf, does it have enough space to shelf a few in box?
Yeah it's the deltof. I was going to take them out of the box. But before I do let me see how many in box can fit for you.

Nebraska Furniture Mart is a good spot to check every so often.
Right now they have Fox and Samus available. When the Metal Gear Solid Collection for PS3 was impossible to find, they had plenty available for order and there were quite a few people on here that were able to get them. I can vouch for them. I go there all of the time and their return/refund policy is hassle-free... at least in person.

Agreed with the last part. I honestly checked out of amiibo after how hard they became to find. Azula's story and passion ignited something in me that made me want to keep going with this. I really appreciate his sincerity in all of this. He's always willing to help, too.

by the way, you can keep the plastic portion of the packaging if you want an additional tier for your amiibos instead of laying them out on the same plane

That said, you have to go in person to get it. Shipping online is insane like $129 for some stupid reason. So I had to go drive to a far store to get this.
I plan on getting these:

And then using those on each shelf space. It will make it look fancier. I might try some other decorations. Right now it's pretty vanilla. Still really nice, but yeah. Needs some work. Or maybe the Wave 1/2/3 break down.

You should have picked up the led lights for it also. Though I suggest running the wires from top to bottom. You'll need to drill out a small hole on the base to route the wires out.
Welp, ordered Little Mac and Mega Man from B&H. Really nothing to lose there -- if I happen to find a Little Mac in the wild (ha) I can just cancel my order, and if it doesn't ship, I don't get charged. Since he's not out yet and I don't guess lots of folks order amiibo from B&H, I have a decently good feeling about my Mega Man being locked down.
Man, I never thought I'd be collecting amiibo (casual though my collection is compared to others in the thread), but here I am, and it's fun stuff.

Ah man. So they sold actual LED lights specific for that model at IKEA?
Can't believe I didn't know that. Fuck. Store is like 3 hours away. Wonder if I can get them online. My next purchase is 100% the lights. I didn't know there were lights made just for the model though. :*(

You could also add shelves using clips and aircraft cable. Then all you need is to find a glass shop to cut you some more shelves.

I've seen those used in combination with the ones I posted. My son has a Detolf, and ready for another. I used the pucks in his. Got some plastic cable track to run the wires through to the corner of the display, then took thick straws, slit them on one side, and covered up the wire frame and wires from the lights, all in one shot.

I really wanted one of the many cool Amiibo cases I've seen posted in the thread but I just couldn't find anywhere in the house to mount them. It looks like they'll have to occupy the bookshelves in my den instead... it's not like I actually read or anything anyway >.> Plenty of extra shelves for future waves too.
