Plenty of people give great speeches sitting in an empty room, and there have been quite a few good responses to the SOTU over the years.

This lady has a really weird lethargic delivery that seems wooden, places weird emphasis on words, has trouble looking at the appropriate cameras and sounds so insincere that it's offputting.

If this was a Democrat I'd be saying the exact same thing. I'm not even criticizing the content, because I'm so weirded out by her delivery.
