real question tho why are hip hop albums always "dropped"
There's something else going on here but, lmaoWould you prefer a more sophisticated word? Possibly more British?

...SHIT.Not a fan of the hook, although it's pretty clever.

VERDICT: I think the album is better than his more recent stuff. Not ready to say he's back, but it's a step in the right direction. He snapped on a few of the songs here, good shit, but it's not on the level of FNL or The Cool.
Definitely a return to form though.
IIRC he started working on it when Atlantic wouldn't let him release original LASERS, but he decided he didn't want to release it until he was done with the record company. There's a track on F&L2 (Strange Fruition) and the Jonilyah tribute track that stem from it apparently.Wait Lupe is doing an album entirely produced by Soundtrakk? This is what i need.
Interesting that he went for a T.R.O.Y. song title reference with "They.Resurrect.Over.New" after he got so much crap for sampling the Pete Rock and C.L. Smooth song.
An above average album, doubt I'll remember it/be playing it in a week
One good thing about music when it hits you, you feel no pain

.
So what was the deal with Old School Love and Next to it? Was that just to keep Atlantic happy? Were they released in a mixtape?

People use the word stan for literally every group of fanshttp://m.neogaf.com/showthread.php?t=976262
This is why people throw the word stan around lupe fans so much

Deliver is great. I never checked Lupe before might have to now.
He'd be much better off with SoundtrakkNot really feeling this to be honest, dude still needs to work on his production/beats and I don't mean in the "Superstar" way... Dots and Lines sounds like some shitty fruit loops beat boxing.
Hire El P or something.
