If he never actually died I'm more interested how he survived that fall, lol. Hate that kind of immersion breaking stuff :(

Honestly, there's probably some contrived BS explanation. They didn't show him fall, so they could say he tried grabbing some rocks that slowed his fall.

If you watch the scene where the camera pans down to him closely, you can see a few places where he could have grabbed some rocks or at least bounced off them to slow his fall.

He grabbed his anklebow, shot a wire-arrow into the mountainside, lowered himself down, faked he was dead.
He, he was just sleepy after all that mountain climping and took a nap. Katana just injected him with some coffee and gave him a fake badage so he would look cooler.

Oooh. I like this, Maybe Katana is already dead too and the big double reveal happens when they show how Waller killed her in HK.
Nah, they need her for the Birds of Prey which she will join after R'as kills her husband, because that whatbhe tries never works.

Speaking of Tommy. So there isn't any Lazarus Pit in play? So that means Ollie survived being impaled and a 100 foot drop and hours at least of sub freezing temperatures.

Diggle: "Ollie, you telling me that you were stabbed on the chest, thrown down a mountain and being left there for hours? How did you survived?"

Ollie:"Diggle, I have to tell you something"

Diggle:"Not again..."

Ollie:"After saving the world from the omega bio weapon, Amanda Waller used me for an experiment to create a super soldier, one who could survive in extreme conditions"

Diggle:"FUCK YOU!!"

Also starting not to become a huge fan of Felicity but i can tolerate her, she doesn't have as much screen time as a certain other character whom i find beyond annoying.

I don't see them killing/writing her off as bad as i want them to cause i can't stand her character. she devours screen time, always with her wah wah wah, I just start browsing gaf on my phone when she starts talking. Best case scenario is they reduce her role to almost being irrelevant. please do that writers.

Nope. Don't agree with you Laurel haters, her character is fine, she deserves more screen time and a proper arc.

Kill off Laurel, and let Felicity take a break.

Bring in Katana and Huntress.

Also give Diggle a fucking costume.
now THIS man gets it. 110% agree with this.

yea i agree. theres only so much bs like that i can handle before it starts to bother me. the sword fine, but the fall too IN FREEZING TEMPERATURE!? cmon bruh

sweet baby jesus, you want her to have more screen time than she already has?! might as well rename the show to "The Misadventures of Laurel" then

Well..she's getting it now. But hopefully her screentime will be heavily scaled down after trilogy ends. The name of the show is Arrow afterall.

Why can't Barry help. He can run to the city in seconds and be finished with the problem and run back in a couple more.

Also, why and how can Thea even want to be with someone like the Barrowman after all the murders he committed? Like, half a thousand... I really don't see anyone having so much problem growing up without a biological father that someone could somehow see past this.

I don't have the same problem with Oliver surviving the fall. His stab wound being on a different place is not a writing error but more of a consistency error. He could've survived the fall by getting slammed into the wall thanks to the blizzard and then land on snow which cushions the fall. There's a fine line between not showing and not explaining either. But the other two just... baffles me.

The writing in this show is just all over the place, which is sad because season 1 was pretty damn good.

I'm calling it...

Oliver visits Tommy in the flashbacks. Some bad shit goes down. The only way to save Tommy is to wipe his memory or some shit. Explains why Oliver hides who he is from Tommy in S1, and then at the end of the episode Tommy returns all 'betas, leave!'

Not really. I bet that what will happen is
Oliver going to see Tommy and sees him with Laurel, thus revealing how he already knew they were together in S1.

I hope she improves her fighting stance to match the pants.

Now Thea, THEA, is the worst character on the show and should just be killed off. How in the world can she trust and hang around her biological father? You know, the guy that killed her half brother, attempted to kill her mother, killed the father who raised her, leveled the Glades, and thus killed thousands of citizens leading to a resurgence of crime. Yes, this is the person who you should take advice from Thea especially when you KNOW he is keeping secrets and lying to you. Do you even remember why you left Starling City? PEOPLE KEPT HIDING SHIT FROM YOU!

I am thankful that many of you don't work in tv.

Yep, all female characters die in each episode of the fourth season, In the finale they invite Anna Gunn to guest star on the show and they kill her too at the end of the episode so they can get she surviving Breaking Bad from their chests.

You know they have to have at least one or two nerds on the crew they could consult on this stuff, but don't.
Sadly most shows don't. Hell, most movies don't.

I kind of want to see Blackhat. While the movie apparently isn't great, supposedly they got most of the hacking stuff right.

No to Diggle getting a costume. If everyone on the show becomes a freaking superhero, they're no longer special, it's no longer interesting. The cast of characters around a super hero, whether it be Lois Lane and the Daily Planet crew, or Alfred, Jim Gordon and Diggle, Dectective Lance, make their respective heroes important by reminding us not everyone and their dog is destined to be a super hero.

I always worry Arrow will one day end up juggling too many costumed heroes and villains and it'll seem like they're all running around in their own make believe world with any real world relevance long forgotten. That to me would be boring. That hasnt happend yet tho, it's still got the balance right.

It helps that in DC everyone has a clearly defined location. Flash in Central, GL in Coast, GA in Star City. So they have their own shit to deal with. Hopefully if Atom gets a spin-off, he goes to Blue Valley or some such.

The problem isn't that everyone needs a costume. Felicity can stay without one. But it's so ridiculous that Diggle is running on mission without any disguise. One witness or one camera and he and his family are busted.

I agree. Thea is so much worser than both Roy and Laurel. Her actions and cause makes no sense anymore.

Yeah, I may not agree with Laurel not telling her dad about Sara but I at least understand it but with Thea her actions don't make much sense.

Lol, this got me to chuckle.
Because I could see it happen!
...and I'd love it!

Fantastic.

Really wish they went with the Lazurus pit.

Is Ra's even old in this version?

The last two episodes seem lackluster. I'm sure it will kick into full gear once Ollie returns.

edit: Nvm, wiki says ra's is atleast 78, I'm sure Lazurus will be revealed before the end of the season. I'm sure they used it to some effect on Ollie but not a full dip.

I agree about the last two episodes. I was excited to see the support step up while Ollie was out, but I've rolled my eyes too many times during these episodes.

DJ Douchebag is a member of the LoA. Sigh.

I'm not sure why some people think Thea's actions make no sense. Her trust was broken on all counts. Here comes this man, who killed thousands of people including a member of her own family, and saves her life and tells her "I'm your papa, baby gurl." Now then, she doesn't trust him and doesn't want anything to do with him, except he makes a promise to be honest with her. Now Thea, the broken girl she is, sees that as her go to. She doesn't trust him totally, but promises to go with him IF (and this is important) he trains her so she can't be hurt anymore.

It's clear that she doesn't totally trust him, because he's a mass-fucking-murderer, but she's getting something out of the relationship (training, money, and protection provided by Big Daddy Assassin over here). If she totally trusted him, she would have gone with him when he wanted her to leave Starling.

I have a strong feeling that Thea is up to something. I can't place my finger on it, but I have that feeling.

Me too. She showed some balls too at the end of the last episode.

I can see this with exception to the still not trusting him part. I feel like the signs point more to her having an overconfidence in her abilities (fighting Arrow head on, thinking she could've killed Malcom, trying to protect Roy in a couple of instances) rather than her not trusting him enough to leave. Especially with that last speech to Malcom. I get the feeling that she really does think that the two of them could oppose Ras.

And I totally get why she could think that way. It's just that everyone else knows that's batshit crazy to think. She just doesn't have the context of Ras and the League. I mean if you think about it.. she hasn't witnessed the things that every other character has. She's been pretty well shielded from the villains thus far.

Well, again, Malcolm was 100% honest with her (minus the "I mind-controlled you to commit murder to convince your brother to erase my blood debt to Ra's lol") as far as she knows. That's been Thea's justification for the past two seasons. No one tells her the truth. How many times have people gone "alright Thea, here's the real truth" and given her some half (which might be generous) truth or complete lie? She might be overconfident, which I don't doubt, but we'll see the moment that puts her in her place. Hopefully, the same moment that will actually establish her position as a character not to be fucked with.

I'll be honest, I'm a bit of a Thea apologist. Save for most of S1. I can't defend that. She was a brat.

That's a very low balled maybe too, he's definitely way older unless no one has challenged him since he killed his first man at 11.
