Only if the opponent CPs to a stage that the winner feels they are uncomfortable with their character then loser can CP character if they want. In other words,winner can ban stage (in Best of 3s, in best of 5s there's no bans), loser CPs stage, winner can switch character, loser can switch character.

Isn't there a rule where in Bo5 you can't counterpick a stage you've already won on or am I remembering that wrong?

Leffen has been 4-stocked by the gods eternally, and the last two times he was able to overcome it. I'm pretty sure it doesn't phase him anymore.

Adam Lindgren is going to need to approach this with caution.
