Well, I'm trying to get one now, yes, but I'm currently awaiting a Japanese shipment of 7 of them to complete a custom paintjob commission I've discussed with Saludos Amiibos from tumblr. If you didn't already know, my goal is to make this a reality:

I'd just really like the blue one now instead of later, is all. It's killing me that he's out there, but I can't have him yet!

I'm calling it right now that those variant Marios will be the first new reward for whatwver new reward program Nintendo is working on to replace Club Nintendo.

So the tiers will likely be Silver and Gold now.

What better way to hype up the new reward program.

That seems like a pretty big reward to have out of the gate. Depending on how you earn points, that seems like something that would take a while to obtain. Too soon for new members to be able have enough points to acquire.

It's more than likely that they will do one, cross promotion for the new game that is coming out. Sigh, I really wanted them to experiment and do a Nintendo Generations line where they release iconic characters from their IPs in each console/handheld generation.

While driving to class, I just realized my mail came around your post and USPS left my textbook at my door. Looking back it's been a while since they've used the box. Not sure if too lazy or they just figured one goes in box and others go at door cause I'm sure this textbook should fit in the box.

I'm new so I missed it. But what was the discussion? I think she looks pretty. But her eyes look kind of weird to me with her mouth agape. Like she's had a lobotomy and staring blankly into the abyss of all things that is life and death, and the afterlife. What did they do to you peach. WHAT DID THEY DO TO YOU!!? She has seen some shit.

But her overall Amiibo does look really cute. :)
 
So went retail hunting and Bowser killed most of Wave 1.
Kid was trying to find a strategy game and mom said only up to Teen. Poor kid...
 
Tingle Amiibo as KMart exclusive would be great. I mean, I would forgive Nintendo for everything if they made this happen.

Buy an ICEE slushy at KMart get Tingle Amiibo free exclusively at KMart.
 
A friend of mine in New Hampshire was able to find himself a Toon Link at a Best Buy. Meanwhile, I still haven't been able to go anywhere because our 1 car is used by my dad and uncle all day this past week. Dammit.

How did -Horizon- get banned btw?

I work at GameStop so I know the drill, but yes this is useful information. I never do store pick-up, I'll always go into the store to order. Always more secure, and I haven't been let down yet.

My, how you flatter me! Haha, yeah, it was an idea I had a little while ago that, once I got it in my head, I couldn't stop thinking about it and had to make a reality.

I looked for artists who could possibly undertake this project, and I was really impressed with some of the stuff Saludos Amiibos had made (http://saludosamiibos.tumblr.com/commissions, if you're interested yourself. Very reasonable prices, nice guy.)

I'm just awaiting my shipment of the 7 Mega Mans from Nippon-Yasan and Nin-Nin, which are set for 2-3 day FedEx Priority shipping, where they'll be sent right out to him to be repainted. He says he's excited to undertake this project, and I'm psyched to see the results!

Amazon is one of the biggest retailers in the world, and I expect them to have their shit down on logistics more than most other companies. This isn't absolving NoA of any fault either since they have most likely been horrible at working with retailers during this entire line not to mention spotty release dates. The confusing and strained relationship between NoA and Amazon works both ways, so no I won't say Amazon isn't at fault if my order gets cancelled even if NoA has been fucking up to an incredible degree with these products.

Edit: Sorry for sounding rude. Just stressed out about all of this since before I got into collecting, Mega Man was on my short list of must haves. In the case that Amazon does drop my order, I do expect them to make it right since I have nothing but good to say about their customer service.

You should be proud. I think it's awesome that you are that passionate about this that you are have this concept/idea you want to do. It's going to be so amazing when it's done. You have to post pics. Or PM me when it's done. I'm getting giddy just hearing about the project.

Makes me want to make sure you actually do get all 7 Mega Man. This HAS to happen.

Ugh, just got an update from Amazon US to approve a delay in shipping Ike (I pre-ordered way back in mid-November). Still no estimate on when they'll receive stock or ship it.

Okay, I grabbed a Mario Party peach Amiibo on Gamestop before it sells out. Even though I think her face looks like she's been lobotomized (that blank/ditsy expression), I have to represent my girls. She looks overall very cute.

I blame NoA for everything since amiibos are fucked everywhere. I've never had issues with amazon delaying or canceling anything before, but of course they're having issues with this. So is Bestbuy, gamestop, target, and TRU.
