You really should stop- it's not anyone else's fault.

Also, I don't think waifu talk is being banned entirely, but they are def trying to curb it down some which is a good thing. I mean, I enjoy my fair share of waifu shenanigans (and I'm a girl), but it does sometimes go too far and it does make me (and others) uncomfortable when it does.

And in amiibo news, my villager dreams are slowly being crushed. I should end up with a nice stock of extras for trades should everything go well, though, so hopefully I'll be able to trade for one. I don't even need one in a box- just want another so I can make a custom female villager!
 
Why Horizon was Banned

<Horizon> Can someone go to amiibogaf and tell everyone I didn't get banned because of the new junior named Lucina. Apparently I got banned because my "waifu posts" were making others feel uncomfortable.

Yeeeah, damn, really wish I had an extra Villager for ya, because I can sense you passion to have a female Villager amiibo being strong like mine for my Mega Mans!

Yeah, he was super quick to respond to me when I messaged him. If I can't get a hold of another villager, I'll probably have him do some other custom work on one of my extras just because I think it'd be neat (plus I'd like to see his work in person).

I'm trying not to pay $50, but I've almost cracked a few times. lol My bf said if I really want it, to go for it, but I'm trying to hold off until after Vday/new 3ds weekend. I'm just scared his price will jump up even more. :/

Okay. I sometimes worry too much. It was just weird to just join and my first day someone nice gets banned because of something they said to me.

But you are right, Ill stop worrying. I hope he comes back soon as I want to make friends with him :)

Also I appreciate you guys making me stop worry about it.

I do, but I'm not a manager so I don't get the emails plus Gamestop.com put up toad today and the store isn't doing preorders as of yet. Just as quick as this things are it could be a day I'm off and I miss it lol
 
I'm glad there's no fem robin because canon fem robin is body type 3 (and well I prefer male Robin to be type 3 as well but oh well).
 
Well, my online Pick up In Store preorder for Shulk has been moved to "closed". Looking online, I guess that likely means it's being shipped to the store now and if it was cancelled it would have a line item declaring it as such and I would have gotten a notification. We'll see. Ordered pick up in store because I'm too cheap to pay the shipping, so I hope that doesn't screw me. Shulk is really the only Amiibo I want to have/open for myself. My GameStop actually seems run really well and has some awesome people, so I'm confident as long as they get my order I'll get it.

Ah, yeah I wanted a female Robin amiibo badly. Given the way supply is though, I can only imagine the nightmare it would be. Maybe someone will make an amazing custom like they did with female villager.
 
So considering those who pre-ordered Shulk for in-store pick-up have been shipped, do you think that means all the GS locations are getting them around the same time?

Hopefully you get it, mine is pretty nice too I went in the other day and they assured me that they would hold my Ike and Shulk and I wouldn't have to worry about it. Don't know how many other Gamestop's work but all the ones I have been to have been fairly good.

Eek! I wish so badly I had pre ordered Sonic and Mega Man. I've been waiting daily for them to come out here. I feel lost on what to do. I wish they had a solid rlease date in stores so I could go out and get them.

I have no idea what to do.
 
I'm really considering picking up a second Samus Amiibo and doing a repaint/remodel of it to give her the Light Suit. Samus Amiibo aren't rare are they?

It seems like there was a pretty big shakeup in general attitude for the stores in the past couple years, at least from my experience. Mine used to be a indoor mall location a few years back and pretty much sucked pack then. High-pressure sales tactics, not very happy sales staff and just general shittyness. They recently put up a location in a sort of outdoor strip mall and that one is so much better. Nice people, no ridiculous high pressure sales, and no forcing you to preorder to get free promo items like the Pokemon codes. Funnily enough, both stores existed together in the same small city for like a year or two. Not sure why that was. Probably due to a lease in the mall or something.

I also noticed a similar attitude change in other stores around my area, so I do have some hope GameStop will stop completely sucking in general.
 
Just got off the phone with my GameStop regarding my online in-store orders that are now showing up closed online.

Everything is good on them! Says they are expecting them around the 13th.


I suggest other people having this issues call their store and pay off in person.

I was planning to, look up a few guides, pick up some paint, clay, and whatever else I need and go for it.
