Upon further deliberation, it seems the light blur alt does indeed resemble Air Shooter, it's just that the artwork looks a darker blue than it should. I looked in my MM25 Official Complete Works book, and it looked like this:

Edit: Then again, it really could be Gemini Laser, Skull Barrier, Ice Slasher, pretty much at least one light blue in almost every game.

I ordered Sonic when he was available last month and I got a shipping confirmation. They have to be just handing them out randomly to people...

Also the fact that you had someone preorder 92 Shulk and they are only getting 1 of them is hilarious, screw that guy. XD
 
So does that confirm that Sonic might become rare? But I'd figure since he's still rather popular, he'd at least be considered uncommon.

It's okay, I know all about that unfortunately. I haven't been living under a rock, I just haven't made any effort to invest in amiibo.

Marth is supposed to be restocked for Code Name: S.T.E.A.M. though, so that's nice.

I ordered last month as well and now I feel worse for the folks that ordered day one, I assumed those were all filled.

Don't feel bad man it's not your fault. I'm happy you're getting one. I don't understand how after wave 1 Amazon has crapped the bed with the rest of the waves.
 
Which do we think will happen first?

Nintendo releases a wave of reprints, Nintendo finishes up all the Smash amiibo first, or Nintendo interrupts both with a random other-Nintendo wave?

Yeah, but they could still interrupt again with another Mario wave...or a Zelda wave...or a Pokemon wave...

Isn't the Super Mario line already interrupting the reprints / Smash line?

Lol I'm not getting one, I also got screwed. I'm just saying the fact some people in this thread who ordered day 1 also got screwed is absurd while some Jan 23ers got theirs.

Depends where you are really and if you want US only. US version of Lucario is rarer at the moment. Lucario is widely available if you don't mind the EU version. They are worth about the same right now.

Chrom and Lucina usernames in one thread, and not a Fire Emblem one. Amazing haha.

My dad made me a little shelf-step-thingy-majigger-mado!... But it was a bit short, so he's making me a new one tomorrow. Gonna' take a picture of that when I get it set up. But until then, I'm making use of the one he made today. =)

What you can't see, is that I still have my game cases behind the bottom amiibo. The shelf is open to where I can still fit everything that was on my shelf, but also display these in a nicer fashion than stacking them on top of each other... Kind of makes me want to open them though. Gonna' run out of space as soon as the rest of Wave 3 comes in. D:

Amazon was great wave 1- wave 2, there was a super long delay on my Little Mac and I heard nothing, but in the end they came through. I figured it would be the same when I hadn't heard anything about wave 3, but with these emails going out... it's worrying me! I luckily found a Sheik, which is one of the ones that I have preordered there, but I am still hoping they'll come through with my Mega Man.
 
Are these worth collecting? I'm debating if I should go down this dangerous rabbit hole. :P I can get Mario, Luigi, Peach, Donkey Kong and some others at Target right now, but the rare Amiibo's will be hard to find.
 
I kind of want to join the AmiiboGAF spreadsheet, but I feel like I'm nowhere near active enough. I had a few days there where I was posting a ton. Now I feel like someone who just checks in every once in a while.
Even though I've read every post.

Only collect the characters you want and even then don't stress. If you're looking for a complete collection or a few of the rarer ones and won't settle until they're yours, run away. Otherwise, take it casually and enjoy.

I love Nintendo characters so I buy them to add to my other collections of figures. Been wanting a Smash line for years.
