Yeah. When I went to Gamestop on Tuesday, the clerk said Nintendo just can't make enough of these things.
This is why I'm going to be really gung-ho about Wave 4. For now I only want Ness but if I start wanting another one, I'm not hesitating once pre-orders go up.

I bought the For amiibo but I didn't care for his look which is why I sold him here. Derpy Diddy is almost making me regret buying him haha

It's really not that they can't. It's that they don't believe everything would sell (even though everything probably would for the most part).

Not the real one but it nice. I don't know why people are bidding on it like crazy with it being fan made and won't work with game.

Well they people at my Target told me that Nintendo PR told them that they are trying to make future waves more readily available so hopefully it won't be too bad, but I won't hold my breath.

yea i made the decision that i was only gonna get the ones i want which is why despite holding marth and wii fit trainer in my hand launch week i didnt buy them also why im not worried about lucario, lucina or robin.

Bingo. I can't see a scenario where I'd get a Little Mac, ROB, Ness, Mr. Game and f'n Watch [edit] merch/nostalgia kick!
I liked Smash U but outside of if people are over, I don't touch it. i like the relatively cheap, official figures.

I've decided to refer to Sheik as a male based on Associated Press rules for describing transsexuals. Zelda, a woman, uses magic to transform herself into a male body and, after that, clearly wants to be identified as a man while in Sheik form. If the person wants to be identified by a certain gender, you use that gender's pronouns.
Hence, Sheik is a he.
Its a good buy.

Welp, got Rosalina from Target today. Opening the box, both of them were cross-stacked with no bubble wrap, so the plastic was kind of crushed, but fixable. Though the cardboard part is kind of bent.
Looking at one, Luma is kind of....dirty. Part of me wants to open that one up & see if I can wipe it off, but I don't know if I wanna give away the one with the bent cardboard part.
I'll probably get a picture up after I'm done getting 3DS stuff off my old SD card so I can move it to my new 32GB MicroSD.
As for the giveaway, what I plan to do is make sure I've got the Modbot requirements correct, then tomorrow at about Noon EST, I'll start the give away so it can end right at Saturday at Noon. Then I can get the winner's info & see how much shipping will be, then send it on Monday.

Even though I find the Mii Character to be beyond annoying, the amiibo outfits make them less so. At least they're wearing something cool while making those God awful noises.
But, then...
Same re: Ike. I preordered so freaking long ago too. Oh well.

Nah, got the basic shipping (which was about $6...) & it seems they shipped from Indianapolis, Indiana, & I'm in Michigan, so probably just the fact the states are right next to each other.
They probably still think that he also made the figure :/ The listing doesn't specify it being a Tomy figure, either...
I went last night and was soooo sad that it was shipping-only! Hopefully they will all still be up at the end of the day. I do have Amazon as a backup, at least.
I ordered him day one, too. The pre-orders really don't matter, do they?

Alright, here's the pic of them. I think I'll give away the one on the left since the bent isn't THAT bad or noticeable (as there's no bent marks) & the winner might want to keep it in the box, so I wouldn't want to send the one with the dirty Luma (which obviously my camera didn't pick up on....).

Safest bet imho is instore orders.
I seem to remember some problems with that on the second wave, too. No one is safe!!
Got all 18 figures at GameStop from pre-orders in store. Definitely the most reliable. They seem to get them later but the DO get them.

I haven't received any e-mail regarding Ike as of yet. I ordered mid December for in store pick up. I also put $10 down on him a couple weeks back to lock him in. Did all of you with delay notices do the same?
Good point! Could mean a general delay. At least I can warm my cold heart with this. Got here from Japan in under a week, but the guy used a padded mailer. Yikes. Glad it turned out as well as it did.
