Hey, I waited outside Target at 5:30 AM with a friend for Rosalina and Shiek. There were lots of people to play MH4U Demo and Tetris DS with! Come join us. :]

Back to Amiibos ... I'm starting to get really nervous about getting a Lucina and Robin, those are really the ones I've wanted the most. Nintendo isn't really serving their interests by making it this difficult to get their products. I understand wave 1 being an issue, they under estimated things. Wave 2 I can sorta understand, maybe the production orders were already in by the time the saw what was happening. But, by now, they should have things running smoothly, and they don't.

It's a horrible thought that I have to wish that Fox gets rarer so that I have something to trade for one of the Amiibos I want more. :/ it's kind of aggravating. I want everyone to be able to get what they want ...

Ignore won't work though because it just derails the thread completely. Even if you ignore one person, someone else will respond to that post. Personally, I don't think any non-Amiibo discussion should be going on here, as there are other threads/PMs to take of whatever else you want to talk about. I'm having a hard time understanding anyone's animosity in this thread, though. Why the hate over rubber toys! Or plastic. Whatever they are.
 
So would a ship-to-store GameStop.com order with money put down on it in-store be just as safe as a standard in-store preorder? I mean, at that point it basically is an in-store preorder, right?

Exactly, plus I complained about the whole cancellation thing to customer service before they reissued them. Scored myself a $25 credit which I than used on the already discounted amiibo :]

I'm pretty sure my TRU ones will arrive soon. I just received the same shipping notification for all of them that I just received for Lucario before he arrived.

Wal-mart on the other hand... nothing but delayed till end of Feb emails. But I have a feeling these will eventually get here too.

That's what I did. It was on my way, so I figure I might as well stop in and pay it off.
 
Just wanted to thank Salamando again for his awesome display of kindness sending me his Villager amiibo for my little brother. He absolutely adores it and takes it everywhere with him. It is definitely helping him cope with the robbery of his 3DS system and games and his Pit amiibo, making it a little easier on him.

My Target told me that Wave 4 shouldn't be nearly as bad and should be more readily available. That being said I do feel your concern, Robin and Lucina are top priority for me as well. I'm also worried about getting Ness and Pac-Man and those don't seem like they'll be too easy either. Wario and Charizard should be good.

I agree. I'm sure it's been brought up before, but this thread is really hard to follow. Most people just want to know when there is an update, but it's hard to know with all this pointless off topic discussion.

Yeah, I don't think there is any difference once the preorder has been transfered over to the store in question

My local game store just received a shipment of Fox amiibo, finally got one! And the owner will be holding a Sonic amiibo for me when it comes next week!
 
If anyone who had their Fox shipped from the Best Buy in Acworth, GA today posts here, let it be known that you won't find better shipping conditions for the box and its contents.

Also, Sheik looks totally gross in person. Such a bad mishmash of details.

So seeing as we have no pre-order possibilities for NA 4th wave I wonder...has Best Buy posted any release dates for Wave 3 so I can wait outside for the chance of getting one I don't have?
 
Sorry if I've missed it but has anyone gotten Meta Knight in NA yet? I've got my Lucario and Rosalina but I have yet to hear about MK, Shulk hasn't come in yet but I don't think they're releaseing them until the middle or end of February for whatever reason.

I was thinking about this the other day. The people that work these retail chains have to put up with the scalpers and fans that constantly harass them about whether something is in stock or not and the company itself probably doesn't even make that much. Granted, it brings traffic to the store, but when I go to pick these figures up, I don't typically buy anything else unless it was something I knew I needed and would have gotten already even without the figure being there.
