People are making unnecessary drama for no reason. Personally I think that a month without Wave 4 preorder information is making us all go batty.

Click on the name of the person you want to ignore directly to the left of their latest post. The drop down menu will appear. Click "ignore rjinaz" for example.

Just had my Toon Link delivered from Amazon, whoohoo!

And wow... quality-wise, he's one of the very best amiibo for sure. The detailing/texturing on his tunic is fantastic!

An issue I saw was his hand paint getting on the sword handle. I got him the first day at TRU, so was able to look through 5 or so and pick the best one.

He knows that his ups and downs and emotional issues were too much to ask others to deal with. Which is why he decided to leave the community. But he knew I wanted to post on here and keep collecting Amiibos, so he had cleared it with an admin. We had this already cleared and my account was set up.

My issue isn't that some people were tired of him, and wanted him to go away. That's fine. This thread is for collecting amiibos, not him. But that's the exact reason I made my own account and didn't advertise myself. I just wanted to have privacy, and be my own person. I just wanted to use it the same way everyone else did. And not have my fiances stuff brought up again. I think the irony is that, those that want him gone, could have had that if they didn't make a big deal out of me having my own account.

The whole thing is weird to me. All I can say is, this was cleared by admins prior. I even sent another admin a pic of me with a time-stamp just to clear up any confusion. I did all that I could do. The staff has always been incredible to me, and it was never a big deal. It was just weird seeing the reaction.

And I still stand by my post. My fiance has done nothing but love and do so much for others. That I'm just beyond baffled the reaction some have had towards him given all he's done for others. And if you have an issue with his problems, that's exactly why he walked away. So the problem is solved. Anyways, I don't think I should post here anymore. As it's clear that Azula + me cause too much of a commotion, to the point that it derails. I wish everyone the best of luck. Just know he loves you all. Just know I appreciate all you have ever done for him.

So someone posts here, gets accused of being someone they were not, gets harassed in their PMs, has to prove their identity because of all the members complaining to admins, and it's somehow this one person's fault? Right. Frankly, I'm ashamed of everyone who didn't stick up for her.

The people derailing this thread are those who barely post and then all of a sudden they want to talk trash or tell people to shut up.

Yeah. I think everyone's just on pins and needles here lately.

It also doesn't help that AmiiboGAF is such a large community with a ton of people posting so it is very easy for someone to read something the wrong way or unintentionally say something that someone will take offense to.

What's done is done. People have learned their lessons and hopefully we can all just go back to discussing amiibos.

Meh, there is always going to be negative people out there. I tend to ignore them and promote positivity. If other say go away for some reason they are wrong. Mononke has done nothing wrong or you for that fact. I find it appalling that you had to go through all this. The sentiments of others wish are not shared by all. I'm going a bit silly now. I've got all my Amiibo still in boxes but I opened a few spares (Falcon, Samus, Link, Fox) and scanned them into MK8 and now I've just ordered some spares of the others so I can scan in for all 10 costumes. So now I have Donkey Kong, Luigi, and Yoshi on the way plus I'm gonna try pick up Mario and Peach locally and somehow try and get a Kirby too since he seems hard to find in shops here now.

They are really nice out of the boxes. The Samus I opened is drunk as hell though so I'm thinking of trying the hairdryer and ice water trick, maybe same with Link to get his chin up!

So I opened up Lucario and realized something odd: He's the only one so far where the figure isn't attached to the base at all. The only thing holding him up is the clear plastic stand attached to the base.

I also have a feeling that stand was because of the problems Samus had with leaning.

See it's funny because Sakurai had wave 3 amiibos before anyone else. Which is why I don't get why he didn't get all of wave 3. Did they split wave 3 into a and b like here as well? I don't recall that happening.

He probably does have Rosalina by now since I just thought about it and if I recall, you can still import Rosalina from Amazon Japan for standard price.

Most threads in this forum are about toys and drama. It's a videogme forum, after all. Every exclusive, every port, every NPD thread is a scandal or a meltdown or a graveyard (or boring). Not that it makes this scenario less pathetic. People have got to relax about this stuff and leave people alone, the hunt is crazy enough.

In amiibo news, still haven't seen any of Wave 3 in the southside Indy wilds outside Bowser since Rosalina day, sans ONE Toon Link I noticed at Meijer. I don't want Toon Link so I didn't get it, but he's gone now. Funny enough, Meijer is also having a small sale on Diddy amiibos (just Diddy, one dollar cheaper no idea why)

I'm not worried about my Ike or Shulk from Gamestop, although I am kicking myself for not ordering a second one to use for the DLC stuff. On Saturday i will swing by Toysrus and Best Buy, although I am not expecting anything from either of them. More curiosity at this point until Wave 4 preorders are a thing here.

To be honest, the whole thing did seem weird. First with the name changes, then he leaves and Lucina shows up. Normal message board behavior for some people to get suspicious.

Something I thought was odd, was that one of Lucina's avatars was a photo of a blonde girl which I presumed to be a self avatar, not sure though. But earlier Azula had posted a pic of the wedding cake figures he had made, and the figures both had black hair and darker skin.

Not accusing them of anything and they seem like nice people and I feel bad for everything Azula went/is going through. I wish them all the best and hope they do return someday.

You'd think so given how common Link is, but it could go either way, honestly. "Toon" Link is more of a niche character than Link - Doctor Mario will likely be harder to find than regular Mario, for instance.

Is it possible to update the OP with a chart or listing of the rarity of the figures? Would be nice to have a cheat sheet so if I am walking around target or walmart and see one I could reference it quickly to know if its a good buy or it will be there tomorrow. I seen tons of wii fit trainers when I worked at best buy and thought no one would ever want that so it would be around forever. Now it seems to be gone from everywhere and worth something.

What bothers me the post about the paint job on Toon Link is that all the ones that I have seen have a little bit of green paint from his tunic on the outside of his belt buckle. I so far have not seen a single one with that mistake.

I was just a bit disturbed by how mean some people were being considering that the only thing my fiance did was return, quit, return quit. Ups and downs emotionally is certainly annoying. But people knew what he was going through. And ultimately he left for that very reason (so they don't have to put up with the things they were annoyed by). But considering all the things he's done for others, I just was a bit upset people were being that nasty. I would have thought my fiance had murdered someone with how some people are acting.



I don't really know what you want from me. Do you think the admins would allow people to have multiple accounts? They don't. They check IPs all the time. When my fiance decided he was going to quit, he had his account closed out so that I could have my own account using my own work email. This was cleared from them. In fact, it was people in this thread that made a big deal out of it by acting all sketch about me having my own account. Had no one acted weird, then you wouldn't have even known I was marrying Azula, and everyone would have been sunshine and rainbows. But it was people making fun of my posts and making jokes about Elsa and Frozen, and doing other weird stuff. I just wanted to fly under the radar and post in peace. But nope. Had to even send another person a pic of me with a timestamp. And that to me is seriously ridiculous.
