Amiibo Thread 3 | Where release dates are made up and preorders don't matter!

Hey folks! I gave my Amiibo collection to a buddy a while back and kind of dipped out of collecting, but my Rosalina came in the mail from France today.

I don't really have any interest in profiting from her, and I don't really like the character or want to keep her. Does anyone want her? I'm happy to sell it for what I paid. Please don't flip her for profit in turn, though. She is boxed, by the way.

I might be willing to trade her for some other Amiibo of equal value as well. PM me if you wanna chat about it! I don't care if the one you want to trade is unboxed, I'll just unbox it anyway.

Just arrived from Gamestop!
 
i just called my local GS and the guy said that they didnt get anything in other than Bowser but they'll be accessible to me at the midnight launch of N3DS/Majora's Mask 3D.

Guess I'm doing that.

I'm nervous though, walking out with 3x Shulks, 2x Dedede, 2x Ike, 2x Shiek, and 1x Toon Link with all those peeps around.
 
Got a call from Gamestop but it said "your game" instead of specifying what it was.

I have 5 amiibo at one, and then monster hunter at another. wtf gamestop. their call line is useless too for any other information. guess i gotta call them.
 
Likewise just got a text about Sheik being available tomorrow night at GameStop.

I have shulk on preorder too but the text only mentioned sheik.

Anyone else have multiple orders?
Shulk might be delayed in my area due to all the snowz

Mine only said Sheik and I have Shulk preordered as well.

Gonna check with an employee later about that.
 
So it's sounding like Shulk could possibly arrive tomorrow on shelves & not just pre-orders? Maybe I should check again today before class to be safe (or just call).

I am and haven't received anything yet either. I'm getting kind of irritated now with all these other people getting confirmations. I thought it was an all at once kind of deal, but maybe they send them out slowly over a period of time. I hope so anyway.
 
Hmm. Called both gamestops. Its not Monhan and the guy at the other one where i have all my amiibo wasn't really sure what it was because he wasnt seeing anything

sorry to hear that my fellow amiibro/amiigal. hold out until the end of the day, this might be a sign that we're getting our confirmations by tomorrow considering the east coast is getting notifications!

would you happen to live in socal by any chance? i was heading out just now to get something from my local target so i don't mind checking in by my nearby gamestop to see what's up.
 
Nobody wants my Rosalina? I don't really wanna toss her up on eBay, I've got no need to profit from her. Better that she goes to someone who needs her.

I also just got a text about shulk from GS!! WED PM(btw does this mean after 12PM? or later in the evening?) either way I guess I'll swing by after work.

NorCal. Still might be worth checking though!
 
Strange that it would be "PM" for those getting Shulk notifications. My GS usually gets their shipment either near when the store opens at 10 AM or around Noon (which would technically PM).

Eeep. Canada's really rough to ship to. I've had a number of things lost in transit, and shipping with good tracking is WAY more expensive.

Bummer. Maybe I should just keep her.
