I am very happy right now. I just got the gamestop text saying I can pick up my Shulk tomorrow. I thought that I was out of luck since they closed it out a while back and I heard that those were cancelled. So I was bummed out but NOPE. Now I wait till tomorrow. Spider-man in the MCU and now my shulk ready for pick up, so happy right now!

Well Nintendo's evil plan worked.

UPDATE 1: I only had a 3DS and bought Smash (always been a huge fan) and decided I'd pick up a few amiibo to use.

UPDATE 2: Nintendo completely forgets about supporting OLD 3DS with amiibo (at this point I'm sitting on a handful of figurines that have ZERO game functionality to me)

UPDATE 3: Nintendo says, "hey if you buy both our Smash games, we'll give you the soundtrack and Mewtwo!" (dam you Nintendo, you knew I loved Mewtwo and "free" stuff)

UPDATE 4: I have now purchased a WiiU and must have a death wish as I'm trying to get a MM New 3DS this Friday (because Nintendo told me my old LBW 3DS is crap)

My friend got his Shulk "Wednesday PM" text, but when he called them later he was told the text was erroneously sent...

This made me call Gamestop and they told me to call back tomorrow at around noon to see if they got them in or not. Said I'd be able to pick him up as soon as they get them in.

Went to my GameStop to get concrete numbers. Shulk, Sheik and Toon Link should be arriving tomorrow/Thursday. Shulk had 4 pre-orders and we're only getting 4, Sheik had 1 pre-order and we're getting just 1, and Toon Link had 2 pre-orders and we're getting 3.

Only extra one is a sole Toon Link. I have the one Sheik reserved and a Shulk for myself.

The building staff said it probably went all the way down to the garage and they'd need an elevator guy to come in and check.

Happy for everyone getting their Shulk. Sadly my Shulk is in the middle of shipping so I have to wait to at least Friday for the package to arrive home. Oh and Amazon finally got an estimate when I can expect Toon Link and Sheik which is expected to ship around the same time as my MM3D LE order. Seems like a good amiibo day.

Now if only gamestop send me a text on when I can expect to pick up Megaman, Sonic, Ike, and DDD.

I got the Gamestop text and when I went to look at my reservations on the gamestop website, I noticed that Shulk and King DeDeDe are missing now. Hopefully that means I will be picking them both up tomorrow.
