It's kind of crazy the game still gets shit on at times.
People complain about games that are just filled with bugs, are a downgrade in visuals from the first initial showing and try to con people with false promises and abrasive DLC practices. Ready at Dawn maintained its integrity throughout this entire development, super transparent about their tech, also solid on a specific vision they have had and never claimed it was something it wasn't. All of the while it's still their first major console game and a brand new IP, at the same time being a small studio for most of its development.
And with all that the graphics were even a step beyond their first initial reveal and subverted the common downgrade trope. They are making the game they wanted to make and were successful at doing so.
I just think that is all impressive in this pessimistic "everyone is trying to screw us!" age we live in. I totally respect the "this game is not for me" opinion, but the dismissive and aggressive, "The game should be this, because I like this" is just kind of sad.
