After playing TLOU:R I actually do think 60fps would benefit it, but I agree that I would gladly take this type of graphical achievement over a FR boost.

Absolutely, but it's just not possible to have a game that looks as amazing as The Order and be 60 on consoles. I just don;t think 30FPS is anywhere near as bad as some people make it out to be.

Oh definitely not, I play on PC a lot so I'm very accustomed to high framerates, and I don't have a problem with a locked 30 if it's done right. AC Black Flag and Driveclub both run great at 30.

30 fps looks/feels much better than normal with the quality motion blur they're using.

There are 16 chapters with a epilogue and prologue. Also some of the chapters are really short. That first video that leaked with the part where Galahad meets Tesla and shoots the sniper rifle is a chapter.

Let me help you out with how to approach this:

1. Put game disc in and let the initial install complete
2. While it's installing, make sure you have your computer/tablet/phone with NeoGAF loaded up in front of you and readily available
3. Begin playing and post updated impressions every 15 minutes so we can ride this rollercoaster with you

It would have been confirmed a while ago if it was already there. I hope they patch it in. I can imagine it being complicated though. They can't entirely do away with it in those branching QTEs or mashing scenarios. But removing them during full gameplay (such as stealth, doors, contextual dodge/counter, black water recovery) could be a reasonable compromise.
