The best word I can think of to describe the pacing is deliberate or maybe even methodical. The sound is absolutely top notch and I think the only score that will touch this one this year is Bloodborne or the Witcher III.Some of the ambient sounds are worth just standing still to listen to. Voice acting is superb some are better than others (Percival's va is so damn good while Lafayette's is hit or miss). The gameplay blends everything together in a very satisfying way.

What chapter are you on?

sounds great. 12.5 hours sounds like a good play time. I may have missed it but hows the overall story?

Most important question. Are you in love with Izzy yet?

Glad to hear the audio is so good. My new HD598s will be pleased ^_^

Also not done after 12.5 hours? Damn

To be honest I probably should be done but I have been ..... distracted. Shooting things to see what I can and cannot shoot through. Seeing what I can and cannot set on fire with thermite. Running into objects to see if they move or what I can interact with.
just standing around flabbergasted at boob and dick physics. trying to figure out what in the fuck they used for the other things skin texture
Trying to replicate the open chest cavity from the slow grenade gif. Yea I have been very distracted.

Excellent.

Nope but I have a legit man crush on Galahad.

Edited to add

Thanks! Good to read that the blend of all the aspects is satisfying and the game is engaging.

Just in case some of you missed
In addition to that (this is something not really in the tutorial), you can hold circle to move around the ends of cover to execute a 90 degree turn.

Also, for those that asked a few pages back, you can swap the triggers with the shoulder buttons, and swap the analog sticks, all available in the options.

In the options is also where (mentioning it again), you will find Camera Bias, which allows you to swap shoulders the camera is looking over. This is off by default, and once on, you activate it by pressing on the side of the touchpad you want the camera to move to. If you're fast enough, you can play a bit of camera pong. :D

After taking alook at the Evolve face off thread and seeing all the screencaps posted in there along with the video and screencaps in the article, It looks absolute SHIT and made me that much more thankful for what I've seen from this game so far. I mean look at these compared to the stuff weve seen from this game

Yet there are no graphics complaints or hubub for Evolve whatsoever. One thing is for sure, aftr seeing these caps and replaing a bit of Wolfenstein today, The Order is clearly in a league all its own.

I was thinking the same. 3rd party titles are going to look ropey as fuck by the end of the year after the release of Sony's 2015 line up and probably a good preview of 2016s. Third parties need to get their arse in gear, it's not like they're developing for a different PS4, they're using the same tech as Sony's first party.

No love for Lafayette? He's the character that jumps out at me most.

You guys with the game, can you check if theres an option to change the opacity of the hud? My plasma tv hates those really white huds :(

Osiris-kun, if you were to give ti a score, what would it be?

Hey guys, we must show restraint when it comes to the streams, Im so tempted to watch..but I need to hold back.. don't ruin it for yourself.

So exciting.. 6 days to go.

Fuck right off at these impressions... I was totally content waiting till this hit the 30-40$ range due to my backlog but I think y'all sold me on day one

Well, there goes worrying about the length. Thanks for the impressions.

I live in a college town (about 130,000 residents). What location do you guys think has the best chance of having broken the street date? I'm out this morning and I want to go hunt for the hell of it.

I didn't realize it, but after checking some listings, it seems like we actually only have one non-chain game store in town. I guess my chances at Walmart and Target are slim.
