People suggesting Amiibo being bundled with hardware don't remember the pain of when Nintendo bundled Pokemon cards into certain products. Like fucking Cool Porygon card that had to be purchased with a $150 Pokemon Stadium system set.
They should be getting Shulk in soon, New Zealand got theirs a few days ago. It sold out very quickly. Meta Knight, Lucario and Sheik were also refreshed.

Seems that way. My local GS sold them early yesterday and the stock was tiny according to them. I bought the last Dedede and Meta Knight.
