If I can't snag an Ike somewhere by the end of today I'm just going to import again. Rosalina I don't care that much about missing but I had planned to fool around with the Fire Emblem characters in Code Name Steam

I have awesome delivery people in my area. I give them small gifts in Dec so hopefully that helps.

On another note, if any of you guys in the states ship amiibo to each other, do NOT use the fucking postal system. I have a trade in place with another user here (my Shulk for his Rosalina) and he sent via USPS who, of course, couldn't deliver the package (to a BUSINESS ADDRESS) and now I had to pay an extra 18 bucks out of pocket just to have them intercept and attempt redeliver to my home address. Here's hoping they don't lose it.

Yeah, I was going to mail the Lucario prize using USPS, but then decided not to be cheap and have a much better chance it makes its way to its destination.

I ordered from amazon.de to be shipped here in the US, back on January 16. The latest they had listed for delivery date range was February 13th. Nothing yet. Should I shoot them an email, or wait a bit longer as something being delivered from Germany to the US does take a while?
 
So amazon have not failed me so far and I have every single amiibo but it seems while mega man and sonic have dispatched king DeDeDe, meta knight and shulk have not.

Don't do this to me please.

edit just got email for them no stock oh god.

Truth. I sell on Amazon frequently. I've never had an issue with USPS.

I'm having trouble understanding why they can't deliver to an address, there must be a variable that isn't obvious? The only reason they shouldn't be able to deliver is if the address is invalid, or if a signature is required and no one is present to sign. If the address is bad or package is undeliverable, the package will be returned to sender. That would be the cheaper option, since after the seller receives the returned package they could re-ship to you. A single, well-packaged Amiibo in a box is $6.15 to ship priority mail with tracking. Much cheaper than an $18 intercept.

As far as the general unhelpfulness of customer support, I can't speak to that as I've never really had to contact them. Going to your local post office would probably yield a more helpful result, but certainly not as convenient as a phone call.

Honestly have no idea why they can't deliver. I work at a major ad firm in the John Hancock building. We have a dedicated shipping / receiving department and get deliveries all the time. I've called the post office where it allegedly is located but there is never any answer. I just don't want them to lose the package outright, especially if it's in limbo at a major distribution center on the opposite side of the city.
 
My current Amiibo collection, i'm only aiming for the original Smash 64 roster but i've been suckered in by a few others :c Shulk's on the way

Seeing my mail carrier constantly put other people's mail in my box or me not get things I should have makes me leery of using them for something like an Amiibo.
 
How rare is Dedede? I have a second one coming from an order I couldn't cancel and I'm debating returning. Then I thought maybe I could trade him if he's uncommon for maybe one of the ones I'm missing.
 
Shulk, Ike, and Meta Knight are the last ones I need from Wave 2. Not bad, I guess!

Oh and I need Little Mac but that's never happening ever, so I think I'm safe writing that guy off.

Ugh, I was only going to get a Sheik because I really like the character but somehow I've gone amiibo crazy. Now I am getting odd and annoyed looks from the wife.

I'm only missing Ike and Lucario from wave 3 now but I feel I really have to stop, I don't want all these things, I feel like I am just caught up in the hunt to collect them.

I even bought a n3DS when my old XL was just fine, so that I could use the amiibo on it too lol.

Somebody help me!

My GameStop just got in Ike, Dedede, Mega Man and Sonic.

Also I don't know if this is where to ask, but if anybody gets an extra Meta Knight from any region, I'm willing to buy at a reasonable price. Have nothing to trade for unfortunately but I can't get my Best Buy pre-order due to to unforeseen event so he's the only Amiibo I'm left in the dust with.

If you email them now, they will most likely tell you to wait about at least 1-2 weeks after that last estimated delivery date.

I had a similar issue with my rosalina amiibo order from amazon.fr

Preordered mid december and it was sent out mid january with an expected delivery date of end of january.

Still no rosalina.

Best course of action at the 2 week mark after expected date is to send an email to their support about how long you have waited and whether they can try to track it. Most likely, if there is no tracking, they'll apologize and assume it was lost in the mail. They'll try to replace it if they still sell it but if not, they'll just refund you.
