Also I don't know if this is where to ask, but if anybody gets an extra Meta Knight from any region, I'm willing to buy at a reasonable price. Have nothing to trade for unfortunately but I can't get my Best Buy pre-order due to to unforeseen event so he's the only Amiibo I'm left in the dust with.

Oh wow, I didn't know that. I thought they were already released there. Said that it should be coming in tomorrow as they had dispatched it, I think it was mentioned, a week ago? I don't know if it will or not considering my worries with my amazon.de order.

Well holy crap, Mega Man already shipped from Fry's. Still haven't gotten the e-mail confirming it, but I already got a tracking number when I checked the order status on their site.
 
UK people waiting on Shulk, King DeDeDe, Meta Knight, Megaman and the other Wave 3 Amiibos might want to check their emails.

Just got told I won't be getting three of my amiibos until June, due to low stock allocation.

Same. Just gonna go to the usual spots. I doubt I'm ordering online anymore after Wave3 issues. Also, it was too easy. I like hunting Amiibos :(

Amazon? I got all of mine on the way, luckily. But this does not bode well for Wave 4.
 
So uh, weird question, but does anyone have links to places that have Yoshi for 9.99...

Somehow, i never got Yoshi, and i only just realized this >_>

I found a shop online via taobao (chinese eBay/Amazon) that can put together an entire set of Amiibo, but they are the Japanese ones. I know they are region free but will it affect their value in future? I want to collect them all for my daughter who is just under 2 years old. Maybe some day they will be worth decent $$
 
awesome, best buy just shipped meta knight, now i can stop worrying about that. Now can Ike please hurry up and arrive at gamestop...

Better grab a couple of the commons before they are replaced with the Mario Party versions and the Smash figures don't come back.

Amoebas are pretty valuable regardless of where they come from I think.
 
This is my collection updated with Mega, Sonic and Dedede (who I adore). Still upsets me that Meta Knight is so hard to find in the UK :(

I don't really have any reasoning for the positioning of each bo, so, sorry Sonic for being at the bottom.
 
What are you doing, Amazon? You send me emails, tell me I won't get three of my amiibos until June, then send them anyway.

Even if you get a "low stock, wait until June" email, still a pretty good chance of getting your amiibos sent out!
 
Shulk, Dedede and Metaknight are impossible to get here in the netherlands :(

Even mediamarkt was all sold out. I preordered on dec 20 and Game Mania will only have them for customers who preordered before dec 18.

Fuck this

:( that sucks.

I honestly recommend keeping an eye out on the Nintendo UK store and snagging pre-orders as soon as they show up. They limit them to 1 per customer (at least right now) and I've yet to have an order that was cancelled, arrived late or contained damaged Amiibo. Sometimes the card backing is a little bent but if you're ok with that risk I recommend them.

Most arrive a day or two before official release too.

I had to do a lot of scraping and some trading/deals here on GAF to pick up all of 3B. Just keep an eye out and ask around and you'll find them. Everyone here has been pretty great.
 
tempted to just buy one of the overpriced meta knights on amazon so i don't have to hunt around for one. but I don't want to be kicking myself if it goes back in stock within the next few days... I guess I should just wait and see. patience and amiibo don't go hand-in-hand

on the flip side hopefully my Dedede comes today after being delayed for two days for who knows why. Good going USPS!
 
Had a nice surprise today, when my local Saturn broke the street date and had about five each of Shuk and Mega Man there. I picked my favourite ones and returned home satisfied.
 
Looks like my Meta Knight will be ready for me to pick up tomorrow! So that's all the exclusives down! Now to just wait for GameStop to get Ike, Dedede, Mega Man, and Sonic and I can put Wave 3 behind me for good. Luckily I pre-ordered all my Amiibo's from them well before the cut off date posted in the memo.
