It's taken me forever to get a pic of my collection so far but I've been doing some "redecorating" to accommodate amiibo on the wall...

Have Nintendo commented on the availability of Sonic? Will he be limited or mass-produced? I won't be able to order one until tomorrow and I'm worried that Amazon UK will run out.
 
Finally have a Fox now! Incredibly happy this GameStop actually held it for me. Can't wait for tomorrow. Hopefully I can at least get Ike tomorrow but I'd settle for anyone.

I don't think Nintendo has actually commented on the availability of any figures, outside mentioning that Mart will get a reissue at some point.

THIS is what all of you should do today. Do not risk it. Do not call. Go there. I hope I don't hear how someone here preordered and went there tomorrow but a worker put them out on the shelf and it was gone by Friday opening.

See, the mistake you're making is assuming Nintendo's communicating any kind of detailed supply information to people. We don't really have any info from them on supply beyond "not all figures will be made in equal amounts" and "reprints are possible."

You have my usual spots but I find that Argos is one of the best places to go also.

Yep. Toys R Us, Argos, Tesco, Very, John Lewis etc all have Amiibos available but only on launch day. You can't pre-order from them which I why I end up physically going to the store or ordering around 7am.
 
Like I said, got the European wave today in Belgium.

Shulk, Dedede and Meta Knight are gonna be rare in Europe. The store I went only got two of each and they ordered 10 of them. It's gonna be a mess all over again. :(

Just got my Ike today from them. It took about a month. the good news is, they all arrived perfectly!

TRU today sends me another Ike I ordered and the top is bent. So yeah go figure that amiibos traveling thousands of miles and across an ocean can arrive perfectly but not the one coming from just a couple states over.

Anyway, also got my Sonic so all that is left of wave 3 is MK arriving tomorrow and D3 from walmart and who knows when they will ship that. By Feb 27th supposedly.
 
Nice video showing 7 or so amiibo close up from all angles so you can get a feel for each one. Good if you are considering getting one of the ones in the vid.

The Yoshi one has a bit of a dodgy paint job here and there but nothing too bad. All the others are perfect.

Congrats! Pictures please.

So far got all of wave 1, missing little Mac from wave 2, and assuming gamestop pull through for me, wave 3 complete as well as wave 4 all preordered.

Yup, definitely. My GS put them up for sale yesterday and they barely got any stock for those, I got the last ones. It's also impossible to find them online, unlike Mega Man or Sonic.

Did sonic go up at all again last night? I managed to get orders in for Dedede, Megaman, and a gamecube adaptor thanks to Diggeh and others, but then I had to get sleep because work at 5:30am.

I missed the 13th and can't seem to get out of work for tomorrow either...

As long as nothing goes wrong with my orders I'll be missing Marth, Villager, Lucario and Sonic.

So close yet so far lol.
 
I could pay $26 or so for Japanese Ike from Amazon and buy a micro SD card for my n3DS to get free shipping. That amount is pretty much what I'd pay to import.
 
I have 3 from Best Buy shipping in, probably showing up tomorrow, and then they just need to ship Mega Man and I'll be caught up completely, finally.
 
Got an e-mail from Amazon UK and Sonic, Shulk, Meta Knight and Mega Man are all on their way.

Swweeeeet, though my wallet is crying badly.
 
My Ike, Dedede, & Meta Knight from BB just shipped! :D

I got Sonic in the mail on Tuesday, I should have Mega Man arriving tomorrow, and I've got all of the Super Mario amiibo figures (& the MP10 bundle) pre-ordered so now I'm all set until Wave 4! :D

When did you pre order? I've not got any email yet and the order still says Not yet despatched. I pre ordered on the 8th December.

Edit - And as I say this, I've got the email to say they don't have them.

I give up. It ain't worth this shit and I can't believe how badly Nintendo have handled this.

I don't know how I should feel because us in the US have been suffering since day 1 but then I feel bad for you because: we know how you feel and we are importing a lot of your Amiibo. But who's really at fault here? NINTENDO 100%

Haha, well, we all have our crosses to bear. He probably saves a ton of money, though. Enough to buy amiibo for all of his friends!
 
My Megaman order from Target.com will arrive tomorrow, and my King DDD shipped from em yesterday as well with an estimated delivery date of 2/20-2/25. My ike order from Amazon yesterday now has a shipping now status and will has a guaranteed delivery date of Monday 2/23! My Shulk from gamestop won't arrive until May but hopefully they ship him sooner!

All I need now is Meta-Knight which I will be lining up at my tomorrow at my local Bestbuy which have a confirmed 11 MK's! After this wave on wards to wave 4...
