Have you checked out the other new Jump Start series? Kagamigami is written by the Psyren Author which seems nice, but in my opinion the best one out of the bunch is Cyborg Roggy. It has an interesting premise about augmented Humans.
Ah yes, she's always so nice around You that I forgot that violence was supposed to be her thing.

I'm reading Kagamigami first 3 chapters right now and it seems interesting. After that I will start Cyborg Roggy. I will come back to post my impressions.
EDIT: Cyborg Roggy was really the most awesome first chapter from the three new series. Not sure about how will it develop but that was very cool. Kagamigami was great too. Still think that Black Cover has more potential between the three of them(despite being very formulaic). Let's see how those series will do from now on.

Think of Monster Hunter but with 29 years old NEET as a main character.
chapter 1-3 have problem with repeating the same joke, but the 4th and 5th finally show some plot. The artwork is good, especially the monster.
Note: Chapter 3 have an awful translation.
Seven Seas would have been better!

Nurse Hitomi's Monster Infirmary volume 1
Pretty good first volume with a good first look at some of the monsters and a good introduction to Hitomi's klutzy ways, plus lots of lewd comedy, with the girl falling apart, the tongue fetishist and the weirdest one of all, the eyes fetishist (who doesn't find Hitomi's eye arousing, though), to name a few.
Chapter 3 and 4 were my most preferred ones. Chapter 3 for the friendship/lesbian theme with the girl growing up monstrously and the one shrinking down instead, while chapter 4 because we get to see Hitomi's relationship with her father. Bear dad is awesome.
The last chapter's end was awesome too, with the revelation that her childhood friend is, as his loli-looking mother says, a lolicon, just like his father.

Considering who her mother is, I'm surprised she wasn't a considerably more violent person.
Only 13 chapters long, so a pretty easy read.
Shame the ending wasn't quite as good as the rest.

It's great, but be aware that it got cut short.
I think it's a step up from his previous manga ( Yawarakai Onna ) but maybe you will like that one better.

I seem to recall the groups who managed to win a jinki were forced to fight on the island or drop dead or something. And that Minamoto was finally told who his father was. I seem to recall at that point even his sister knew before he did. And now as a repeat of the flashbacks, some nebulous military force is trying ti take the island and its inhabitants.

I love the presentation here, good use of colours especially at the frame of the pages. Subtle handling of emotions, often opt to convey them through a character's actions. Just found out that she won the new face award in the 18th Japan Media Arts Festival last year with Dobugawa.

I think I stopped reading after around chapter 100 or so. I pretty much drop every shounen battle series I try within a month of catching up to the current chapter. The pacing is always too wack to endure if you're not binge-reading, imo.

Odd, thats how I feel about Cyborg Roggy. At least BLack Clover is focusing on magic which based on jump seems to be something that is not in any of the current series at the moment. Roggy is just another sci-fi series which World Trigger is already covering well.

I wonder if this is more a big boss situation, ie, someone tried to recreate Negi, creating various clones of him.
But if hes a clone, why were his 'parents' targeted and killed? Were they trying to safeguard him from whomever created him.
