Amiibo Thread 5 | Because we didn't preorder thread 4

I pre-ordered the Gold Mario amiibo. Not because I wanted it, but because if I ever decided that I wanted it in the future, I'd need to pre-order it to ensure that I'd get it. I think I have a sickness.

I was thinking of send my extra either to a friend or someone who does not have a Walmart in their town.

Honestly, this is probably the best idea. Why go through the stress of trying to get one. Let someone else do it. Set a price you're comfortable paying, then keep bidding until you get your price.

Good to hear :) I'm not incredibly picky since I do want to open them, but I don't exactly want it smashed to pieces either :p

Ok, now I don't have to go out! Well, unless there's some mass cancellation or something bad like that.
 
I've been doing pretty decent at keeping up with Wave 3. So far I'm only missing Shulk (getting shipped May 1st) Ike, and Meta Knight. If any of my Amiibros have spares of the last two to sell, PM me. I'm still looking for them.

They canceled my Sheik order, so it is a YMMV type deal.
I think they will honor it since it just got announced.

So if anyone wants to trade for a Shulk or buy it for $120 FIRM let me know. At least walmart got the cash so with it paid in full I am hopeful it shows up.

Could really care less about the gold Mario. Maybe if I can just walk into a Walmart and buy one no problem.

How far ahead of release did the cancel it though? Since it ships after release by the looks of it, I hope they'll give time for a heads up.

Just took a second order all the way to the confirmation to see if it limits to 2 per account as well and nope, people can just put in multiple orders. So it's a good first step to scalpers, but not as good as some other places.

I got two Mega Mans from their website that arrived just yesterday. Small box, but no cushioning. The cardboard on both of the amiibo was in rough shape. =/

That is a shame, but at least they can see multiple orders on the same address.
I just don't like that a person can go buy 20 of them with no blockades.
 
Isn't it funny how this was recently announced and went up for pre-order fairly quick, yet nothing on wave 4. Something's afoot.
 
my friend sent me a link that this was up and I managed to preorder a few of them. would never have caught it otherwise. bullet dodged. phew.

I'm so paranoid about wave 4, I may need these for trade material.
