Amiibo Thread 5 | Because we didn't preorder thread 4

I don't even care about Gold Mario and I ordered 2 of them, lol. What am I doing... Nintendo has a hold on me.

I've had great luck with Walmart's amiibo packaging quality, just for anyone wondering.

True im still interested in the onslaught for both Gold and Silver Mario since there's no Walmart directly in the city without ethier traveling to Jersey or Upstate.
 
Fuck I can't order it from Canada, I have an address in the USA but not a Credit Card.

Anyone get an extra???

I can trade or pay extra!!

Well it is still part of the Mario Party line, so maybe they are trying to get people in on that line of products before putting out the orders for the next one.
 
Was able to get 2. I wanted a 3rd one, but it looks like the limit is 2. One for me and a friend. Mobile site worked for me, though.
 
Darnit. I missed him. He was going to be a nice bonus, but not a necessity. :/ I'll keep refreshing the page in case he goes back up, but darn.

As long as I can complete the smash series, I think i'm good.

*sniff* all you people ordering two and i get zero :(

Heh, I live in Jersey and there are no Walmarts close to me. I have a few Targets around though.
 
I told myself no on gold Mario and hesitated at first, then I decided go ahead anyway and I must have grabbed one of the last ones because right after my order went though people were complaining they sold out. Whew!
 
Somehow thanks to the grace of the gaming gods, I managed to get my Meta Knight, Rosalina, Shulk, and Lucario.

I am all good and can finally relax. Until Wave 4 comes out and the whole fiasco starts anew.
 
I got one. Thought about getting 2, but didn't want to wait too long in deciding. These things always seem to go up right around the time I have to leave, but I lucked out checking right before. Missed out on so many DDD and Ike right when I leave my computer or have to leave the house
 
damn. I was honestly conflicted on whether I even wanted it to be honest but I went ahead and preordered it just because of the impossibility to get any of the retailer exclusives this wave....and it is sold out already. Guess I'm glad I pulled the trigger before they were gone.

Target did put pre-orders before the actual thing and when the actual shipment came, they put normal orders. So it could be the same case with Roselina in that you may be OK if you do not pre-order.

Shulk seems to be pre-order only in NA IIRC unless you live in NYC.

Damn what part of jersey you reside?if im not mistaken theres one in jersey city which is not too far from NYC might go there for an instore pickup

I did the same thing! Ordered the first one, then started thinking about ordering a second one. I open all of my amiibos, but figured this would probably be the one that I would keep sealed since it probably doesn't offer any in-game exclusives. Then I talked myself into having a sealed one and an open one. By then it was too late. Now I have a decision to make when he gets here!
 
On another note, I feel so lucky right now to have a job that involves sitting at my computer all day. It's the only way I've nabbed some of these things. (And even then I've missed a couple during 3-minute bathroom breaks.)

Indeed, is there a point to take this out of the box when the bundled Amiibo does the exact same thing? This is purely a collector's item.

I live in Clifton. But I'm moving to Myrtle Beach, SC in a couple of months and there's plenty of Walmarts down there. 24 hour even, lol.
