What we've all been waiting for.

What we've all been waiting for.
Last couple of games I played, it was usually in like in the BlackAgumon line (or evolved from a Tyranomon line).
It's supposedly in the game though, so not all is lost!
Can you get them normally in the game, or is it strictly DLC?
Obvious answer: DLC, they wouldn't do pre-order DLC that you can get in game. There would be no incentive to pre-order if that was the case.
I wonder, do the BlackAgumon and BlackGabumon lines affect the number in the index (249?) or does it just stay blank if you don't have the DLC?
If I order from Nippon-Yasan, who are still showing stock, will I receive the BlackAgumon & BlackGabumon DLC code?
Now that's a good question.
If the copies they have are from the first print copies then yes, otherwise no.
They could just make it harder to get them normally, but you're probably right.

If I remember correctly, Clockmon might have a chance to digivolve to Machinedramon, but it depends on the game
ive created black gabumon from normal evolution though might be because the dlc is in. as i did it before meeting the npc who gives you your dlc stuff.
Looking over some evolutionary lines from the past, Clockmon and Guardromon both have been able to evolve to Mugendramon before. So there's definitely a chance of Hagurumon evolving up to Mugendramon.
I'm guessing it's way too early for any evolution chart with requirements and pictures to appear?
Like I said, I know nothing about Digimon so I'd like to try to get the coolest looking ones.
I was looking to see if anyone had a basic guide up yet and stumbled upon menu translations. Here they are if anyone needs them.
Also, it looks like I found the answer to my DLC questions.
Edit:
The only guides I can find are incomplete (mostly stuff about Terriermon, lol). It is a safe bet to go with Digimon that have been main characters in the anime, as their lines tend to be consistent. They also end up with some of the coolest designs.

Nah, I'll probably get bored of this evolution stuff halfway through the game once I get a team strong and bakanced enough to cut through everything.that guide book is quite useful for all that info but not sure if you are interested in picking that up.
i have it and am quite happy with the content

I checked the friendship stuff and looks like digimons get 1-2% per fight if they're in the active party. Enough for the early 10% requirements but I'll probably use the farm for the 40%+ ones.
Nippon-Yasan is no longer selling first print copies, for those thinking about ordering from them. The game is in stock and available to order, just without the BlackAgumon and BlackGabumon DLC codes.
So... Does that mean the game is flying off the shelf ?
Ugh, I'm planning to buy the game from Play-Asia on April 1. Do you guys think I'll have a chance?
They better restock it.
Oh yeah but I don't want the day one edition.Even if they restock it, it wouldn't be the Day 1 Edition anymore.
This is the first time I've heard of a first print/day one edition actively selling out. I still see new copies of those for years old games, I guess in Japan it actually matters.

It's been a while since an actually good, non-rehash Digimon game lol
ShonenGamez has translated the menus to English and shared them so that people can play the game easier. Here's a link: http://www.shonengamez.com/2015/03/12/digimon-story-cyber-sleuth-translations/
Perhaps this should be added to the OT?

First day Sell-Through {2015.03.12}
[PSV] Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth <RPG> (Bandai Namco Games) (¥7.171) - almost 80% (stock problems)
Sounds like the game is selling well:
Seeing how fast it vanished from shelves yeah that seems to be fairly accurate. As usual the amazon marketplace hyenas are at it again...
It is really hard to resist just buying it off PSN even though it's coming next week/week after.![]()

if you want to see what the evolution system is like in this, skip to 10:54 to see Terriermon digivolve.
you know even if you did it Im sure you could sell of that physical copy quick
So Terriermon have an evolution that requires him to be lv 50. Anyone can make out the requirement for it? Especially the last line.
How does evolution work in these games anyway? Is it like in the show where they power up to that form or like Pokemon where it's permanent?
Sounds like it could be Rapidmon (Armor).
evolution requirements level 50, attack 100, defense 120, intelligence 120, talent 20, friendship 50
(Disclaimer: I got this from the internet, so it might be wrong. The naming scheme keeps changing on me, haha.)
No problem, thanks for your help. Can I ask where did you this information from? I figured out the 20 talent and 50 friendship line but there's a long line underneath that remains cross out. Must be a special requirement or something.
Haha probably but I still can't resist keeping physicals. I've double dipped on a lot of things so it's not too much of a stretch. (I have 3 Tales of Graces f... one american copy from being impatient when I got it early from an import shop that broke street date, one normal american copy that I got from the internet and an EU copy)
Ah well, see how I feel after I get a good nights sleep.
Are you enjoying the game? How far are you now?
