How much is it recommended that I upgrade the Cane? I've forged it once, but I don't want to invest a lot of Bloodstones into it if I'm gonna get another weapon soon. I did the professional so I'm a skill based build.

Wooh. After a full day of playing (couldn't start yesterday since I got home just after my apartment complex's office closed) and I am loving it.

I'm going for a strength build and I just got access to the Caryll Runes. I've only fought 3 bosses so far, but I know where a 4th is. I just kind of skipped it since I was having troubles.

Nope. Nothing painfully gimmicky about it. It works reliably on any enemy it works on, it's up to you to execute.

it seems to work way easier on some enemies than others though

like i couldn't parry the cleric beast once, but father gascone was nothing but parry for me

Throw a pebble to get aggro one at a time(the other will be slow to get in but will probably be on you when you get the first one to half health). Don't try to run past these guys, they will chase you wherever you go. When you see an opening use all but a sliver of your stiamina on it, you'll be able to..

Throw 1 while he is transforming, then use the music box to stun. Throw 2 more and he's dead.

Don't worry,you're doing good,but i think vitality 20 is way too high for it. You could allocate those points in Endurance and Strength or Skill (depending on your style)

R1 R1 L1 L1 usually does it for me in Old Yharnam. They're quick, but just try to time your attack before they can hit you.

I don't know why it happens, it's definetly story based as far as I can tell, maybe a warning to fuck off and stop continuing?

Here is how you get out, if you really need to know

When you find the giant spiral stairs, just run all the way up, once you see an openeing take that next set of stairs and go up, you will see a lantern then.

Molotovs and back stabs make short work of them. Try and lure one over to you with a pebble so you don;t have to fight both at once.



No, if you're grinding for anything other than weapon upgrade items (and even then, that's for new game+) you're doing something wrong.

You might be right, I'll try to hit 15 vitality and 15 endurance. I was hoping to do an arcane build and not allocate much enough str or skill
