To be fair you get 2 insight from beating that 2nd boss (father G) so just make sure you don't die and you still have a net gain of 1 insight
I thought you were refunded insight points is no-one got summoned by your bell. This means either by dying or killing a boss.. Or am I mistaken?

LOL at this outfit. It's from what seemed like a secret area so I'd be wary of spoilers, I dunno how to mark this progression wise but I've seen five bosses so far.

Just come back, it will put the item right where he spawns. Happened to be also, but there is a failsafe in place.

I feel like the use of guns is a bit misleading from what we were originally led to believe. They said it was for us to be the "aggressor" instead of sitting back with a shield and waiting for an opening, yet that is essentially what we do. You can only parry in small windows of an attack, just like a Dark Souls parry. I find myself doing the exact same thing, sitting there, waiting for a window to open and pull off the parry. It is more effective to just dash into them and do counter attacks.
I thought we would be able to just go in, take a shot and force a stunlock. Bullets being limited would keep it balanced.

Yeah, it's kinda annoying. But once you get the small bell, you can get more a lot easier.

Dodge left when he swipes. Use fire paper. Use molotovs. Dodge more. Don't be greedy with attacks as he's really quick.

I have only beat the second boss and I've obtained 15 insight already.
I had 10, accessed the shop and bought the small bell and a bunch of armor (went down to 3 insight) and now I am already back up to 8 before even reaching boss 3.
It seems pretty common

If you quit the game, reload it then go back up the tower, the item will be at the top.

Insight does become alot more common later in the game. I think they want players to get a few bosses down, before helping others, not wasting precious resources. Makes sense in a way.

Haha, I will think about it, but I think he is beatable without help. It was the beast form that murdered me on my first attempt. I went in with zero molotovs, so that was probably not a good idea ...
Save your bullets for that point.
It's so relentless, bullets are the only thing that slow it down enough to give you time to attack/heal.

Welp killed an elder god. The sky is purple, everyone's gone even more mad than usual, and the moon is roughly the size of jupiter.

his beast mode was easy for me with molotovs, 4-5 good hits should do it. Just try to keep your distance as much as possible to avoid his combos and wait for his brief pause after a heavy attack to pelt him with them

I don't know what this means but it sounds amazing.
Be mindful of what now appears when the sky is that way. It was in the beta tests. That's what spooked me.

-When he goes all poison mode run around for a bit, I think it wears off.
-Fire does good damage, so fire weapons, moltovs, oil and the flamethower is good against him.

Getting to 10 is becoming a problem for me at this stage of the game.
How in the world did you get 15 by the end of the second boss? :/
I wasted one because I didn't realize you'd lose it if you went back to the Dream (an hour went by with no co-op partner and I figured it was broken, since things like Specters weren't appearing), but I'm only at 9 Insight after boss 2 and I've found a few of those Madmen Skulls.

There is an area full of spiders and a spider boss excluding the spider cthulhu.
Edit: I should rest my eyes. Playing the game for so long have limited my reading skills.
