This is not true.
sometimes but not this long.
It's only natural, just listen to its theme.
You can parry its attacks easily down to ~50% of its health. Then you could cheese the fight a bit by
using the pillars to avoid those pesky poison combos while getting in a few hits at a time
Ok, i'm stuck relatively early in the game, can anyone help? I have no idea where to go. Please try to keep the answer as minimalistic as possible to avoid any spoilers, thanks
I've picked up the Ritual Blood in Old Yarham and i opened the shortcut to right (after picking up the Ritual Blood from the altar). I've also defeaten the machine gun guy at the top of the tower, and i picked up the item that he dropped. My logic says that i'm suppose to go somewhere and use the Ritual Blood, but i have no clue where that might be. I've been walking around for maybe 2-3 hours now, visiting almost every place and tried every door that is locked. I really dont see any logic what i'm suppose to do, but i'm sure i'm overlooking something simple.
There's a corridor near the bottom of the ladder of the shortcut you open that you probably missed. I did the same when I was there.

You can farm 10k and buy a key.

Any clue what could be the issue?
According to another forum poster, giving her the brooch is not the end of the quest. She appears later I guess (he won't spoil it).

After thinking about it, I think Old Yharnham is probably one of my favorite locations in the entire Souls series, just because of how it's laid out and what happens in it. Spoilers for enemies/events:
I dunno, but I think the entire area is pretty fucking epic, and I still have to believe there's a ton of game left to explore.
The fact that when you first walk in, you get warned off by a random voice. Who is this guy? Then you're slowly making your way through, and beasts start materializing out of the smoke to scare the crap out of you, while this guy is commenting on your progress. Then suddenly, BAM, the big reveal he's yelling at you from on top of the tower AND HAS A GATLING GUN. And suddenly you're taking a Saving Private Ryan-like approach to the tower, ducking in and out of buildings, fighting beasts as gunfire hails down on you outside, dodging and weaving to get closer to the guy whose harassing you.
I dunno, but I think the entire area is pretty fucking epic, and I still have to believe there's a ton of game left to explore.

Yeah not an instant thing. All of Bloodborne seems really bleak. I guess that's the point really. No sunrise happy day for people after all that goes on!

Ritual blood is for chalice dungeon creation.
Go down the first ladder from the Gatling gun, jump off that edge to a ledge below straight across from the ladder. Go through this area (Where the large monster is hanging on the cross) once through you can either to left or right, go right all the way to the end. Climb the ladder and open the door for a shortcut. beat the other hunter there, or go back down the ladder. Next to the tiny room with the ladder there is another path, go through there. That's where you should be going next.

Just got 100k and a ton of Shards from farming the unseen city. So many guaranteed drops.

I believe I know the exact place that you're talking about. If you look down in between the platform you're on and the next building over, you'll notice a narrow platform down below that has broken off and fallen in a convenient manner. It looks far because of the lighting, but you have to fall down some more. The path thereafter is pretty straight forward, and you'll eventually climb up a long ladder.

You don't have any Bold Hunter's Marks so you can just teleport back to the lantern? If not, I didn't run in to any dead ends there myself so I'd just keep looking for something to drop on or something.
Check to see if the 12% Bolt Gem removes the scaling for the base damage of the Ludwig's. I slotted a fire damage before and saw a reduce in damage output, when I removed it the damage was back to where it was.

Have the cooperator quit after setting the PW then cancel the bell and rering if you're still having issues.
awesome, thanks! It looked like it was a death pit so I didn't drop, but it ended up being ok.

There's a way to jump down. Look for an opening in the balcony, and there's a ledge below it. It looks like it might kill you, but if you land right it won't. And there's a wooden walkway to jump to from there.
