Some tips

-Completely ignore the spiders. If you time it right, you can get 2-3 hits in before they even react. Wait for even a small gap between the larvae and its goons then go for it.
-When Rom uses its raining icicles attack, sprint as fast as you can in any direction. Works every time.
-As its health gets lower it gets defensive. When it swings its tail/torso upward GET BACK. Also when you start hitting it, it'll start swinging its body at you so roll away after around 2 hits and repeat.

So run and don't dodge? Thanks, that;s the only thing I'm taking damage from.

Still hate that I'm farming vials though... BB feels like a huge step back from DkS in terms of health management and co-op. Whywould I ever use my own vials when helping someone? To get some insight? Eh, not worth it unless my stash is full.

I spent 8000 souls to buy the Stake Driver. But I can't get a grip on it, where Hunter's Axe slays left and right I need some huge adjustment to play style with the shorter range.

I think I preferred the Kirkhammer, but I really just want to use something that isn't the Hunter's Axe

Just beat the
blood starved beast
.

Tried a few times to solo it, and could probably get finish it eventually but I just wanted to get through it so I used the
coop npc you can summon, alfred. Made the fight stupid easy. Now I feel cheap

So I finally got around to beating all the monsters around the big fire bit at the very beginning of the game and opened the gate back to the checkpoint... I ended up going back to Hunters Dream and then when I spawned back, all the monsters were alive again... is that supposed to happen? Do all the creatures respawn when you go to Hunters Dream? WTF????

I'm finding absolutely nobody with the bell at Vikar. Never been able to find anyone either. Guess I'll give up on coop forever.

The axe is OP as hell. Especially 2handed, the R2 (charged) attack is so wide and knockback even bosses, SPIN TILL IT DIES. it's ridiculous. I'm mostly sticking to saw cleaver since i prefer it's speed though.

As a heads up, from my experience the BSB is actually easier without help if you know how to parry. I didn't have any trouble with him solo, but any time I've tried to help or summoned help it didn't go well at all.

Yeah that's tough. Roll underneath him when he leaps, and save the
music box
for that form.

Thanks, that helped me get in a couple hits, then it was Molotov time

Beat Father G now I'm off to bed sweet dreams Gaf

It's pretty solid for single enemies as you can very quickly hit them and lock them in. I mainly use the axe for AoE sweeps but switch to the stake for annoying shits like dogs.

Yep, that's normal. Get used to it!

I agree wholeheartedly. I really wish farming vials was not a thing. It should have had the replenishing healing items.

How the hell does coop work ? I've read Klepek's guide on Kotaku but it doesn't say why we can't ring the bells sometimes. My friend is level 26, I'm 27. We have the exact same password set in our network settings. We are both at the cathedral. We cannot ring the bels. When we were at the beginning of the game, outside of the clinic, I could ring the small resonant bell, but not the beckoning bell, while my friend could ring both.

Can someone help ? I just want to play coop, damn it.

I agree, the cost/reward just isn't there. I fear I am going to drop BB like a bad habit once I complete the main campaign.

The World Design and Art Direction may be top notch and best in the series, but the quality-of-life systems are a regression and introduce problems that were already solved in previous games.

Huh? That lantern guy attacked me with the ranged spell when I had just 15 Insight though his lantern didn't had the eyeballs. This was after beating
Vicar Amelia
. He didn't do it before I fought her.

Anyway, where to next? I already beat BSB and
Vicar
. Where do I go from there?

There were two paths outside of Vicar's cathedral to head towards. From that lantern I believe you want to go right.

WTF YOU CAN DO THIS? Is it unlimited uses? Where can I find him? Do you think you can use him in the dungeons?

They respawn any time you reload. It is a feature :)

Welcome to Bloodborne/Souls.

how is loot/blood echoes shared in coop? also, if you are the one assisting, can you lose bloodechoes when you die? and if so how do you get them

Let's try using a different one. How about typical 12345? :)

Wait so there are two bells? I only have the beckoning bell. Maybe we are both ringing the same bell?

Byrgenwerth
. There's a boss there that I'm currently stuck on... first roadblock since I started playing.
My strategy for that fight (assuming you're talking about
Rom
:
When the fight starts, kill the little spiders since Rom won't attack you. Then go as hard as possible right now, don't stop. You can interrupt his teleport when starts his second phase. If you're strong and fast you can drop him down to like 50% during this point easy. From then on, I ignored the spiders and did hit and runs. Just run up to its side and do a two hit combos and back off when it goes for an attack. Repeat till death

Took me a few tries.

The combination of reach and strength puts it ahead of most things. Which is why I'm trying to use something different. Gonna get my kirkhammer to +3 before I proceed any further.

The host needs to have the boss alive and use the Beckoning Bell. The summonee uses the Resonant bell. Have the same password to ensure getting paired.
