beat cleric boss on 4th attempt. Almost got it on 3rd but got caught. This is my first ever souls game so it was very rewarding. when the prey slaughtered flashed I was like YEAAAAAAHHHH lol

Maybe but i also had this situation yesterday that i returned to the place where i died. Echos were missing at the exact spot i went down so i killed all enemies in that area but none had my echos (only 10k so no biggie). Could be a glitch that the echos don't really stick to an enemy and get lost sometimes.

I know at one point i had mine picked up by a hiding enemy that i hadnt even seen when i died (died at werewolf on the way to BSB and hidden guy in steam behind house had them)
Ive definitely had mine real far from where i died
And it also seems kinda strange at placing them when you fall to death

Ok So, the only thing Im not liking about Bloodborne is that Blood vials seems to be a very common drop, and I always see myself with maxed with blood vials, does this change later on?

Has anyone figured out what beasthood does?

I tried that item which grants you short lived beasthood, and as i damaged enemies, a bar would fill up, but i could never fill it up in time.

Some areas you'll be at max constantly, other times you'll be scoring. They're mainly for boss fights in my opinion though.

I've gotten more than 90 vials since I posted that by farming echoes in the spot I'm at. Way faster.

Making progress! Managed to get past the Cleric Beast after a multiple failed attempts the other day. Even got through the second boss, Father G in one go!

Old Yharnam. Looks like it's this game's Blight Town. Area looks amazing, and holy crap did the gatling guy take me by surprise! Tried to fight him, but got my ass kicked, so I'll move on to somewhere else.

got invaded, also one one guy was summoned.

I win the pvp, the guy doesn't come to help me and just unlocks something which activates a cutscene. the guy dies, I die from gravity.

The last drop on to a platform before the floor is best achieved by actually jumping to it. You will see it up against the side of a wall. You have little room but you can nail it.

Something like this happened to me yesterday. The area just before BSB in Old Yarnham...I died and lost 15k echoes. When I went back, they were nowhere to be seen. Killed everything, nothing. Turns out that for some reason the game had placed them right back at the start of Old Yarnham you first start getting shot at by the guy on the turret :/

Should I upgrade only Vit, Res and Str? And if so, what's the best stats that they should be?

Doesn't the enemy difficulty and sometimes placement change with Insight level? I'm pretty sure they use new skills when you are +15 insight.

I met her in the first area she appeared, talked to her until she gave me that item and that pose. But from what I've read she was then supposed to appear near cathedral ward which never happened and then after you beat VA she was supposed to appear at the location of the second boss fight where, according to what I read, you can help her fight some NPC hunter, but that did also never happen. Did this happen to anyone else? Is there a way to meet her in another location? I really want her armor set

one time i died in a hall of chalice dungeon i can not find my blood stain anywhere. So i simply give up. but later when i simply passing by that hall, i activated a trap which spawn 4 enemys. One of them had my souls.

You farm some more and then walk away with the valuable lesson of not using vials the first few times you fight a boss.

Farm for more blood echos and buy some more before trying again.

Yeah you have to look for the Enemy with glowing eyes.
