Well if you want to knwi a theory that I have based on what I've seen in the game so far
it would appear that someone is/was/has purposely tried to turn Yarnham into a cursed city as part of some type of ritual with introduction of the curse of the beast. Which stands in contrast to Dark Souls lore where it would seem that everyone was trying to prevent darkness from taking over Lordran by figuring out ways to either fight it or rekindle the flame and because of their quests were twisted into making poor choices either by ambition or over confidence.
at least that's my theory for Bloodborne right now.

Tip: I put the game in standby last night. Today, I was having trouble cooping with other players. On a hunch, I quit the game and restarted my PS4. Lo and behold, I'm able to join another person within seconds of ringing a bell.

Interestingly, restarting my PS4 has fixed all my connection problems so far.

Yeah I have noticed that standby and powersave modes fuck with online settings from time to time.

Phenomenal is the word I keep coming up with. Game is beyond my expectations.

And it keeps getting better, and better, and better.

It is really fucking hard though lol. I have yet to run into an enemy who didn't have the ability to kill me outright if I messed around too much. And they all seem to have a wide range of moves and counters to your own moves.

The AI is very, very good in this if you ask me.

I actually thought the exact same thing. I know I'm looking for paleblood, but that's basically it.

If you find the notes they give you more direction (get the password to go here, the Church Hunter tells you to go there), but it's never actually quite clear why you would want to do that.

To it's credit though, "Stop the beasts to end the nightmare" is about as straightforward as "go find the bells and ring them". This game's just missing a Frampt so far I think.

It will take away a lot of the difficulty / point of the game, but if you don't PvP with that character, no big deal I suppose.

INSIGHT QUESTION. I can't watch that Youtube, but is there any proof / text / written breakdown of what it does? I have 40 (due to Chalice dungeons + playing) and 21 Madman's Skulls.

One thing I did notice that when I hit 40? Horror....and spoiler...to the right of the Cathedral, I can now see
Amygdala hanging onto the inside of the building where she grabbed me and warped me to the Nightmare the first time. I went back immediately after she did it the first time, couldn't see her, but now with 40? I can.
What ELSE does it do?

Yharnam Hunter Attire or Hunter Attire (the one found in the world--sewers, I think)?

And question number two, how do I access my storage?

Also, I just got to the
Cathedral Ward and went down the steps to fight these two Black Plague looking guys. Find this awesome set of clothing (Should I swap out my Yarnham set?) and then get sucked into this purple vortex and thrown into the sky. I almost die and something hat says Frenzy appears on screen.
What the hell just happened!?
 
Questions:

1. Is quality build worthwhile? I love the Ludwig holy blade and it seems more bang for your buck to pump SKL after getting STR to 25

2. are the blood echo items all fine to use? Later ones say they give you "frienzied" blood echoes, I dunno if that is just colorful language or if it does something weird

Oh, yea that's pretty early. Stuff starts to become pretty crazy in a little bit.

I've been reading all the item descriptions so far and talking to the NPCs and the story has definitely taken an interesting turn that I didn't see coming.

As long as you read the notes on the ground (they are just messages), I think the story will become clearer soon enough.
 
I think theres something wrong with my game...

I cant see Spectres (99% of the time I press X and nothing happens)

and

I cant ring my beckoning bell...

Anyone having these issues ?!

Shit just got real.

Actually as far as sets go, I am actually wearing what I think is coolest versus what is most logical.

Crow Garb and twin short swords fucks up the citizens lynch mob activities in style.

Why would PVPing with this character be bad? Is it just an ethical thing? I just want to know, I still have my legit level 50 character pushing through to the 5th boss now :)

, then you should have the
password for the password door
. I forget where exactly the door is though, I think it is in that graveyard area with the two giants

1. not sure

2. all fine to use. frenzied give more blood echos than coldblood. i assume there are ones better than frenzied as well.
 
so the spider guy in the

, I've heard he could be related to a covenant but nobody seems to know for sure, what did you answer when he asked you if you thought ill of him? I said no and he gave me some items and that was about it, hopefully I didn't mess up my chances of joining, though I have a feeling defeating amygdala does that
