Is there a way to increase bullet and blood vials maximum capacity?, the reviewer from Kotaku had 21 vials and 24 bullets in one screenshot.

Pretty much any souls game with a note asking you to jump is always a troll trying to get people to commit suicide. And yet, they almost always get me because it might be a secret this time and I can always get more souls...

Haha ive done it a couple of times at other spots and it was helpful. This one has 43 likes but looks way too high to fall. Think ill leave it!

I came up the ladder on the machine gun dude and he just blasted me off before I could take a step...

Hahaha, same thing happened to me, I got on top of the tower and he just stunlock shot me off the roof and died. I came back, rushed up the ladder and shot him off the tower, Payback is a bitch. Felt so satisfying.

I'm 99% sure hes the only option as a next boss at that point in the game. Time to work on your dodging!

No problem. Guess I should stock up though. Stumbling in with 3 vials was probably my first mistake. I think I'll
drag him over to the raised area next time at the start though.
Can't help but think the fight would be a ton easier up there.

So, when I die can I for sure go get those blood echoes back or is it a random chance thing? I just died twice in the same place then went back and wiped everyone out and the blood echoes are nowhere :(

Is fire or electric any use against Vicar? I have some fire paper and whatever the electric items are to apply to my weapon. Wondering if I should use or save them

It certainly wouldn't hurt, though I didn't use them. There is an
item that stops healing that you might want to have quick slotted though, dunno the same off the top of my head.

it's a for sure thing. Sometimes they're on the ground.

I would have never found
Rom
if there wasn't a note on the floor. Seriously is there any indication you are supposed to drop down there that's built into the game?

I finished off Father G a bit earlier today. After he transformed, he got stuck floating above some tombstones in a t-pose. He didn't try to do anything so I just wailed on him until he died. It was sorta anticlimactic, but I'll take a glitch assisted win :D

Just did a co-op session of this fight which glitched. He cloned himself.
There was the normal version and transformed one at the same time. I could only lower his HP bar by attacking the normal one, really weird.

So I was just in the dream to hit the workshop and polish off another level and was just under requirement for echoes. I dove in my inventory to pop a coldblood to top me off so I can level. I just needed to consume 1. Had a short stack of 7. Selected 1, consumed, got my appropriate echoes and poof. The entire stack is gone.

7k just like that. WTF.

Anyone have a recommendation for a mid to end game location for farming blood/vials?

Just finished it..

What a fucking masterpiece. But man.. now I feel empty, I don't know what to do next. This game was basically a daily routine for the past 5 days, sleep, eat, play Bloodborne. :(
You have to take a break. Coming back later and seeing what there is you have missed is pretty great but don't overexert yourself, you could have a lot of things to do after beating it once but a small break is necessary for your sanity or you might go a little loopy.

Taking down FG on the third try was soooo satisfying. It made up for all the stupid deaths that led to him :)

Nice! Great job with the final form =]
How much VIT do you have? I would've insta died one some of the combos he hit you with (like the uppercut, or the left right punches). It made the fight hellish.

I shouldn't have spent so much only in END.
Is level 20 on third boss too low, too high or ok? I'm always afraid of overlevelling and then not being able to co-op if it gets frustrating, or realizing it would take too much blood to up stats to wield a gun I'd like.

I got an Uncanny Saw Cleaver in Chalice, but I cant see any difference compared to the regular. Anyone know if there's anything diferent with it?

Is it
at the bottom of the church workshop? if so go to the bit jutting out, look at the ropes and fall off, a door to a suprise awaits

You can actually just run back without fighting anyone. Takes about 45 seconds.
I slaughtered everyone on my way back real quick. No slowdown that time either.

Dude basically killed himself the second I got up there too. He dodged to the ledge and I just happened to knock him to the bottom of the ladder with my second swing. Looked like it was going to be fun fight. Maybe in NG+.

I peeked on over at the subreddit for this game...

So many people are saying they need to allow resting/warping from headstones/refill your vials when you go to a lamp

I gotta disagree. The current system is designed to discourage heavy farming. It is the game's way of telling you that having 20 vials for a boss fight is a handicap, not a necessity. It's the game telling you to use the rally system to get your health back. It's telling you that if you just blew through 20 vials on a boss, maybe try a different tactic or go somewhere else instead of bashing your head on a wall for hours. Also, not being able to rest makes bold hunter's mark more valuable when you are actually farming. Warping from lanterns would trivialize the brilliant shortcuts in the game. I find myself actually using them after they are unlocked. It's all a natural evolution of the Demon's Souls system, without letting you hold 100 healing items to abuse.

I definitely did get a little burnt out on farming vials in Central Y, but it gets better. Honestly some of the time I spent farming I should have attempted the boss I was stuck on without any vials instead.

I don't think warping to lamps need to refill your vials but i do think it'll make the game better if warping from lamp to lmap was possible.

Just realised that this game is the prefect Warhammer action rpg, Witch Hunters for everyone!, to bad that there are no rapiers or estocs in sight.

Yeah the last rune looks diferent (a triangle compared to a circle in the original saw), but I dont know the meaning. Im still a bit lost about runes, I just apply the best.

Ack I didn't mean runs i mean the things you attach to weapons. They have different categories, notice i have quite a few I can't use on any weapon I have yet.

My stats in NG+ just killed CB. Still not sure if I want to keep going, the fact that there's no new items, and items don't scale (Bloodstone Shards, Coldblood Dew etc.) I find really annoying.

It would just be for more levels/stats and getting a different playthrough with the NPC's &
ending.

Edit: That first rune slot is situational, was using Visceral for Cleric Beast.

I personally like the checkpoint before
"the witches"
clear from there to straight to the boss room. It should be worth 10-12k souls and 6-10 vials. There are 3 axe guys that are worth 2.5 k each with a chance for vials, and a fattty with a guaranteed 2 vials. It only take 5 or so minutes.

So
amydgala
was pretty easy to cheese

Just stood infront of it and shot her head, moving out of the way only for lasers side to side. Had to use some blood bullets as ran out of normal ones.

Pretty underwhelming design flaw

Yeah I had to do this after I beat it to. I felt really sad because it was over, but I dived right into NG+ and I think to enjoy it more, I need to take a break. Luckily Pillars of Eternity is a worthy distraction.

Yeah the items not scaling is pretty disappointing. I'd rather just start a new character.

I took the same progression path you are, and did fine. The mobs there may hit hard but you only ever have to fight one at a time. You may have other options though, but its impossible to say without knowing what you have killed so far.

I killed
Cleric Beast, Father Gascoigne, Blood-starved Beast, Vicar Amelia, The Witch of Hemwick, Darkbeast Paarl, Undead Giant and Shadow of Yharnam. That area is wrecking me. The NPC spellcaster with the cane, one shots me.

Damn I somewhat miss the Dark Souls way of dealing with Flasks.

I don't even want to farm vials, having to go through those loading screens is really hampering it. I just beat the Layer 3 boss without vials at all, after my 4th try or so. Same went for the Layer 1 boss.

just curious, what weapon are you using?

I'll mainly go to NG+ for another ending, for pvp and npcs.

Are you supposed to be able to beat the enemies in the unseen village? Just beat the 5th boss and these guys are handing me my ass in one hit

Yeah, they are hella tough, but definitely killable.

If you can get a successful parry in, it does a ton of damage. You can also try to circle around back and get a couple of hits in that way. Also, you can score a long combo when they are start glowing red and about to go berserk.

I am so fucking stuck trying to get the Black Church set through the BSB door instead of the key route.

I'm supposed to drop down through this massive cylinder-like room, but I get like 3/4ths of the way down and just cannot figure out how to drop further without killing myself. Does anyone know what I'm talking about? Can anyone help out here?
