Bloodborne |OT2| Praise The Moon

OK I give up. Can anyone help me co-op Rom? Password is set to mattie, if that's how it works...

This motherfucker though keeps taking me from full to dead with one single attack instantly. Doesn't matter that it's telegraphed and I dodge. This fight is so dumb. I spent the entire day pretty much on this fight. Got help 5 times, all failed. The run where I FINALLY beat him, it was pretty much like a boxing match where we landed the final hit at the same time. Luckily "Prey Slaughtered" showed a second before "You died."

Had to respawn and go back to light the lantern! haha Honeslty, I beat DS2 semi-recently, and cant recall having that hard of a time with anyone in that game. Not a very fun fight, the same one attack deaths were happening to me as well, even though I saw it coming from a mile away.

So, when you beat BSB, where do you go from there?
 
So I just beat the 5th Boss
Shadow of Yharnham
and now I'm in Byrgenwerth and met an old dude in a rocking chair, but now what?

Any clues anyone?
 
got to the boss of cainhurst. I did find a
cool rapier and some clothes and a tiny hat, but no cool pistol yet. I wonder if it's after the boss (which killed me pretty quickly).

Come in the lake, and get stuck on the same boss as me! YAY!
 
I think the networking in this game is broken or something. And I hate how the insight disappears just from ringing the bell, doesn't matter if anyone joins or not.

Tried it a few times to fight the 3rd boss, kept switching from trying to get someone to help me to helping others.. Waited like 5 minutes each time, used 2 insight. Not a single person joined my game, nor could I join anyone elses. I'm definitely online because I saw people's ghosts running by me.

Taking a break for a moment. But come on, if I ring the bell and nobody comes I should get my insight back.

ignore the one with the huge axe. Literally pointless, he's not guarding anything. no need to go that way at all.

as for the other one he's dead simple. He telegraphs his hits from a mile away. If you can pull off a parry you should be able to one shot him, or very close to it- even if you haven't been able to level yet. I managed to smoke him easily with just the cane.

Yeah, that's another bad design choice. Co-op is super hit or miss right now.
 
getting frustrated makes me roll a new character, not planning to play this one too much but swept all the way through to gascoigne in one go, gonna level this one as arcane lol. Gonna be kind of rough before I can slot an elemental gem.

you will probably have an abundance of all of them except chunks, so feel free to just blow them on anything. if you plan on doing NG+ with a different weapon i'd recommend saving some chunks.

I tried a ton of weapon... but I finally killed that shit with a good old saw cleaver +5, short form. Rushing through it with simple attacks and some luck.
 
For people who've played a lot of chalice dungeons, what've you're opinion on that part of the game?

I've only done a few, and while the bosses have been great the levels have seemed pretty samey so far
 
Is there any importance to the hole on a cliff in Cathedral Ward? There was a brick troll, and high appraisal notes hinting at something.

Well it's pissing me off, and looks like there is no way to fix it either. Trying to think of a way to get down there without dying right now. I'm this close to just stopping playing and selling the game back. Don't want to keep playing and get another glitch that'll stop me completely from completing the game.

I'm trying to get summons working, but so far, everyone has spawned up there and can't ride the elevator up. Can summoned people even interact with objects ?
 
Where is boss #3? I've explored as much of
the Cathedral district
as I could, but aside from finding some goodies and killing a whole lot of things, I can't figure out how to progress.

Yeah. I just tried it that way, landed on that 2nd platform he jumps to in the video. I saw a beam that I thought I could walk on to get to the other side of the platform, but nope! I fell completely through it and to my death, lol. He does a roll in the video, so I got to get back there and try that.

this building with a massive invisible enemy on the ceiling grabbed me...

Scared the shit out of me. How do I do this part?

so after waiting for the extra 3 days in the UK i get BB today. killed the CB , by which point the update has downloaded. so i quit, install the update and then...

game install incomplete, can not load save data.

COME OOOOON :( any gaffers got a quick fix?

The hardest part in that clip is the jump. I just ran off the edge a couple times before I timed the jump correctly lol.

Ha, awesome. I was struggling with Father Gascoignes second form. This time my plan was just to molotov him in the face as he transforms. Totally works.

Sorry I don't have an answer for you, but that part was fucking terrifying. haha. Also because of all the shit on the way there was rough

Now I'm having trouble jumping to that first platform. Got stuck a couple times between some beams trying to just drop down to it from where you enter the room.
