Mid (??) game spoilers -- I've hit a wall at
Unseen Village. I can run past the frenzied enemies to the broken lantern at the staircase, and I can make it out past that large scary creature at the entrance to the large square. But I can't progress past the next area, where there are more large scary creatures spitting crap at you. They can't seem to be baited, and I can't take them all on at once.

And there's clearly a bell ringer maiden somewhere, but I can't find her to shut her up. How the hell are you supposed to get past this point? All co-op attempts have failed, all helpers die within like two minutes.

My level is somewhere in the low 50s.

Have you killed Darkbeast Paarl? From the broken lamp run downstairs then turn around and down again then through that doorway andyou'll find it. There is also another boss in the unseen village but he's way tougher than Paarl. I also hit a wall at that point but youll get through it

Also re: Gatlin gun guy: He fell off tower. Loot is on fence where I can't reach it. Anything I can do?

ha, this happened to me too, just jump off and you can get it in mid-air (note: just make sure the fall isn't so far it'll kill you, maybe i lucked out on this)

I would have been dead at the point where you had 1 HP. I beat the
Cleric Beast on my first try and I still can't beat this mother fucker
.

I was screaming for a good bit lol. I sometimes think it helps to have someone watch via Twitch or my wife sits with me. The audience makes you want to try harder.

i honestly though bsb would be harder due to well, impressions so far

i kept close and all i did was side strafe his first chain attack, i practically mashed my cane at him lol, other than the poison mist he wasn't too bad

interesting. so you're saying that difficulty-wise, it's DeS, DS, DS2, then BB?

the first few hours of bloodborne were really hard, but it hasn't been that bad since i've gotten the hang of the combat and the basic gameplay loop

Demon's Souls is incredibly easy, coming back to it having played Dark Souls. That should be the easiest one, actually.

What the heck? Near the elderly guy in Central Yarnham there is a gap which I am now stuck in. Any way to get out of it or do I need to return to hub?

don't know why DaS would kick their asses. You have bows and magic to cheese almost everything and also something called shields ... if you want, DaS is easy. In BB you are at least forced to be aggressive most of the time.

Quit the game and reload it. Game is going to position out of places you are stuck.

That's if I can even get to the other one. Half the time i don't make it that far. :s

you can literally run past every minor enemy in the game up to the point where that guy is banging on the gate with no difficulty at all.

you might have to roll to avoid getting shot, but that's it. you could hit him in 2 minutes. Don't make the game harder than it is.

Allright, someone please help me urgently.

I'm at the very start of the game, with more then 2k souls, and just reached a bridge where
there has two werewolves
. What should I do? I'm fearing dying to them because I have not found any shortcut until now, is there any that I'm not aware of?

Also I have already came down to the sewers and collect a hunters set.

Edit: Fuck that shit. Got killed by them!

I didn't mean to say DeS was harder than DS1, I do admit, that IS how I worded it.

In terms of difficulty I'd put it:

4)BB
3)DS2
2)DeS
1)DS1

(1 being the hardest)

also, about to do my first chalice dungeon!

Level 24 now. Beat
Father G
on my first attempt. Easier to manage than the first boss I felt. Expected to get annihilated by his second form - did I fuck. He was a chump.

Question regarding a mission related to him -
I gave his daughter the brooch and then she just cries cos her mum's dead but then I get nothing in return (pls I'm not heartless, I'm just bloodborne). Do I get anything ever from her?

Also, are the gem things you attach to your weapons any good? I have two of the first gems you come across and they have shit perks but I guess it's a start until I get further ahead.

Yup. Turn of the game, restart. His drop will be where he was originally standing before you brutally murdered one of the few compassionate souls in the game :)
He was trying to kill me! I even wore the church outfit, which I had heard would make him talk to me, but no dice.

Do they have an actual obvious end? Also, how do you download/share dungeons with others?

Yeah, the 3rd floor has been the end to all the dungeons I've done. It's obvious because there's nowhere to go in the boss room. The previous floor boss rooms all have an elevator heading down.

As far as how to download/share, I don't have firsthand knowledge since I haven't done it yet, but when you open a dungeon, pressing X on its gravestone puts the seed key of your dungeon there. It's a string of 8 letters/numbers. You would enter that key to get someone else's dungeon, or give your key to someone else so they can make yours.

I don't know that I like the new summon system.

I couldn't find anyone before
the Blood-Starved Beast
and I doubt just no one was there. I was on Worldwide with no password, obviously.

I'd rather have summon signs back because then I know when something isn't working.

This is the hardest Souls game I've played, up to beating Boss 3 and slightly beyond that is.

Even finding your way through the world is harder.

There a shortcut side stairs
right on the other side of the werewolves, u can run past them

And 2k souls is nothing
The first time u lose 10k hurts though

i have to admit that the new summon system is great for friends. but it's not great at all for randoms. DkS2 did it the best. had a lot of fun in coop with that game.

Question: Is it really necessary to spend 10000 blood echoes on the Hunter Chief Emblem? What is it actually for and can I do without it? ...I'd rather level up but if I need it to progress or access cool shit I'll get it.

cool, thanks. Was wondering if there was a way to just make them public somehow without dealing with codes...
One last question, if you complete the dungeon can you go back in? Does everything respawn?

So even though I'm extremely underwhelmed by the weapon selection in BB, I've been owning everything with what is possibly my favorite weapon in the Souls/BB series, (weapon spoiler) the
Reiterpallasch
. That thing is damn amazing and looks boss as all get out.

I always loved
rapier
weapons in the Souls games and this one is by far the best.

It opens a gate, but there is another way to open said gate without spending 10K on the key.

With my little experience I think that those complaining about the difficulty of Bloodborne in comparison with the rest might be because they're a little too trained for this type of game.

Really?
I bought the key because I could find any other way after Father Gascoigne.

Btw.: the combat system sucks ass.
Like dark souls 2 this will be one single playthrough..
