So apparently i "beat the game"???(the credits rolled).Just checked my trophies and i saw that i'm still missing a few bosses,so i guess they are either optional or what.

Btw does the game have multiple endings? 'cause mine was like this:

Warning: ENDING SPOILER

After i beat Mergo's Wet Nurse,i transported back to hunter's dream, refused to Gehrman's offer, fought him as the final boss AND BOOM! An unknown creature (secret boss?) came and grabbed me.Afterwards i see my character as the replacement guardian of Hunter's Dream on my MOTHER FUCKING wheelchair like A BOSS! :P (I just think it was lame)

So those of you who have finished it.These questions are ALL TROPHY-RELATED.

How do i enter C

?
Where is The C
hoir
?
What about The S
ource of the Dream
?

And now the missing bosses:

Y
harnam, Pthumerian Queen ?( I suspect it's the lady before Mergo's Wet Nurse,i didn't kill her)
M
artyr Logarius
C
elestial Emissary
E
brietas, Daughter of the Cosmos

If anyone who has finished the game, has found any of those,i would be really appreciated if you helped me. :)

I'm not saying the games not hard or its bad guys! I think its the best yet so far. It's certainly challenging.

I guess its that timeless souls argument when you've played some before you know how to approach it already.

My own thought on difficulty so far is that BB, once you get used to it, is easier on typical enemies because the player character is so fast and powerful + regain is really (intentionally) abusable. It gets hilarious when you start charging bullets whenever you like with health, then whack a nearby enemy to get the health right back.

The bosses though can represent a brick wall because they are really aggressive to compensate for BB's system. No tanking means the player cannot afford to freeze up and block out of blind panic. Combined with the combination attack patterns many bosses have, it means losing control even for a moment will get you wiped in moments at any part of the fight.

If you know what you're doing it feels easy but depending on prior Souls playstyle it can be rough.
Dark Souls enemies were a breeze too, I think we just have selective memory. I used to do soul runs on the hardest enemies in Anor Lando in DS1, when at first those same enemies were daunting. Once you learn the regular enemy patterns, it becomes trivial. the bosses were always the hardest part for me.

With that being said, I'm not even that far into Bloodborne, but I'm already encountering enemies that are grouped together that make for some challenging fights once you get out of Central Yarnham.

Finally got the gun!

There are some exclusive items and sets, it's the only place to consistently get blood gems and you can get weapon variants.

what's a weapon variant?

I did three bosses in the chalice dungeon and never got anything like that.

Wow what the hell - I was in the Cathedral Ward, planning to make a run up to try the boss, and out of nowhere -
one of the long-armed sack guys who kidnapped me earlier showed up right outside the entrance of the lamp room.
He definitely hasn't been there before - where the hell did he come from?!

I mean, it's not like it matters lol, we have damn articles complaining about the difficulty so some of us should probably have gotten gud by now

I just don't really agree with this game being easy compared to the others. Boss wise this is the hardest game so far, IMO

So uh, the old man in the Hunter's Dream is gone. Did I mess up?
I don't recall swinging a weapon near him. I'm early on, just beaten the first boss, but he was gone even a bit before that. Normal?

I assume you just defeated the second or third boss, don't worry you didn't. He's in the back of the house, close to where you find the hat for the messengers

Is my level (64) is too high for multiplayer? Haven't been able to join or invade anyone's worlds for a while now. Currently in
the unseen village
at the
one reborn's
boss door

lol what? no. It's still more difficult than 90% of games on Ps360, and every RPG that doesn't have "souls" in the title.

..."coming back to it after playing Dark Souls." You didn't finish reading my sentence, lol. Just saying, once you understand how to play these games, Demon's Souls loses its challenge. I was decimating everything my second playthrough recently, only having a slight bit of trouble with Firelurker and Maneater so far (I still need to finish beyond world 1-2, but it wasn't too difficult my first playthrough either, except for the
False King
boss.)

Cainhurst, go to Iosefka's upstairs - to get there you need to go to Forbidden Forest and hug left near the town and take that path. Go through the cave, find another cave past the poison water, take the ladder up. Get the Cainhurst summons inside the Clinic. Logarius is in Cainhurst.

Choir, you need to unlock Upper Cathedral Ward (take the elevator up right side of Ward lantern, and all the way there's the door there that unlocks if you have the key - I don't remember where you get it from. There are two of the optional bosses there that you are missing.

Source of the Dream, you need to take the elevator again at Cathedral Ward, except go to the side and drop down, then theres a sort of a pit like area - theres a closed door on one of the platforms, you need to reach there. You can find the Source of the Dream inside.

The queen is the last boss of the final Ptheruium Chalice.

I wouldn't say boss wise at all. Common mob wise I'd actually say this is the hardest souls game, but Boss-wise I haven't had a single souls game other than Demons where I've one-shotted(as in, in one go, not one hit) this many bosses.

Okay, I hit 4 dead-ends after the second boss.
A closed door in old yarnam, a boss I can't beat, a forest full of gun wielding guys, and a area with motherfucking though enemies..

Go to the forest. Area isn't too tough and you get a nice reward for beating the boss.

what's a weapon variant?

I did three bosses in the chalice dungeon and never got anything like that.
It's a version of a weapon with different imprints for blood gem fusion. I think the normal Cane is Radial/Radial/Triangle, a variant version will be called Uncanny Threaded Cane and the imprints will be something like Radial/Radial/Crescent

Edit: not splash, radial.

The Trio are starting to piss me off. Their long range sword attacks are unfair as fuck, and do HEAVY damage.

I was able to get some success by leading them all toward the back left, then sprint to the huge gravestone to the right, the katana dude will follow while the other two will lose line of sight so you can hack at him for a bit. I'd recommend charged R2 attacks if you can get the timing + range down. He's also really susceptible to parrying, but if he hits you, he hits hard as fuck. Once either of them hits around 50% health, I think, the fight gets progressively harder. Katana dude is the biggest pain in the ass if left alive, then the caster, then the flamethrower. I had to do it multiplayer because it was just too much.

Did you get both of the shortcuts opened?

Do you use the axe? :P

I did a lot of hit and run. It seemed like as long as I was on the move the attack wouldn't connect, that shockwave was the only scary part. Kinda similar to the spider boss.

Wtf lol. The axe is ridiculous. I'm actually using the daggers. The only dangerous attack is some ooze that it pukes out or something.

So I can't make it out of the first room. That wolf thing keeps killing me. I can't equip my weapons, and I can't even tel if I'm doing any damage. Pretty frustrating, but I'm determined to keep playing (obviously, $60 to fail in the first room is not an option).

So I'm only at the halfway point but I have a question about the ending:
I heard there were 3 items required to get the true ending and boss. Do they give you ample opportunity to get these items or are they out of the way and you kind of have to find them on your own?

I don't know that I like the new summon system.

I couldn't find anyone before
the Blood-Starved Beast
and I doubt just no one was there. I was on Worldwide with no password, obviously.

I'd rather have summon signs back because then I know when something isn't working.

I sound like a broken record but I had the exact same issue last night in the exact same area. Infuriating.

You're supposed to die to it so you can get your weapons

If you did the sewers you probably have one of those Madman's knowledge, you can use these to get insight, anyway if you go back to the area where the hunchback is knocking on the door there is a hidden shortcut behind some crates. You'll know you found it when you can hear/see dogs in cages, I also believe there is a house with a lot of laughter near.

Edit: Guess I'm too late..

Not late! I came back to that location and thank god you said that, otherwise I would probably be trying to fund something until now!

I cheesed the first boss by standing inside him kind off, dunno how I would have done it otherwise really

Now on the second boss

In the later areas I kinda just sprinted through them and unlocked shortcuts, before going back and leisurely exploring every nook and cranny, felt less stressful and I didn't really care if I died exploring since I knew I already had the shortcut to the bosses. Prolly not the best approach but it's made the game a lot less potentially frustrating.

Pretty sure I'm at the final boss but I still have a couple of optionals that I'm having trouble with and the challice dungeons.

Mensis Nightmare
is just ridiculously creepy, The
Host of the Nightmare
boss was kinda fun tbh, and easier than the mobs that lead to it
