Bloodborne |OT2| Praise The Moon

So I opened up the
Lunarium and have access to the insect spider boss. Does the NPC in the rocking chair affect the boss at all? Like do I want to kill him?

You mean him being mentioned later from another boss? i was wondering about that too...
Well a few things....
1. Why is there a giant spider thing underwater in this dream like state area? Just doesn't make much sense in general.

2. Then, after I beat the boss all the sudden I'm transported to another area with little explanation.

3. Everything has gone to shit in Yarhnam now and there's giant Cthulhu looking spider monsters everywhere? What happened?

HAHAHAHAHA, I just cheesed that
asswipe at the end of Eileen's quest REALLY bad lmaooo, definitely saving that video. Holy shit that was great after all those deaths from him.

Based Hunters Axe saves the day again!

Did he just keep running into the R2 attack?

i've noticed that with bloodborne as a whole the AI seems like it can get caught in loops where it will keep doing the same exact thing after being hit.

Haven't even reached him yet but... Have you been reading item descriptions? The notes laying around?

Oh man, just you wait. Once you pass the boss he mentioned the entire game loses its mind.

Current build I'm stopping with and hoping PVP is around this level:

Level 125
  • 50 Vitality
  • 40 Endurance
  • 25 Strength
  • 25 Skill
  • 15 Bloodtinge
  • 20 Arcane

I get to use some cool arcane weapons with this build and a lot of customization with my weapons as well as the max/hard cape for hp and stamina

So I accidentally stumbled into
Paarl's
boss room. I'm lvl 30 with
Ludwig's Greatsword
+4.

I don't think I'm supposed to be fighting him yet lol. Fourth boss I've seen so far.

Lol
Was my 4th boss too to but I was lvl 24 with axe +3
Fuck that

I'm assuming this is a late game question

Just killed Amygdala, where do I go? I killed the one reborn just before this

Beat
Amelia
and
The Witches
tonight.

I was so shocked to find out that there were two witches. They took me out a good few times but I smartened up and lowered them both down to low HP and then wrecked them both at the same time. Backstab stunning them is useful, too.

LOL I was so lost in
Forbidden Woods
and somehow stumbled on the
Shadows of Yarham
. Got 'em on first try whoo hoo! There was no way I wanted to navigate that place again. That place ain't right.

Blood vial farm help?

There might be a better place later in the game, but I rely on running from the Central Yarnham lamp to Father Gascoigne's arena (via the shortcut gate on the left side of the lamp area). You'll get 4 vials guaranteed from the two brick ogres, then there's another ogre across the bridge, then there are two beasty guys right after that who also drop vials. Then the Oedon lamp is right after that so you can warp back.

Gah, think I met an impasse at the Chalices.
Any tips for the Undead Giant with the hammer and sickle? Many of his hits one hit kill me.

Wow. I'm different, finding it way easier than dark souls

Maybe its too soon to tell for sure. But in fact, I'm changing my mind aswell, I have just beaten the 1st and 2nd bosses, and they were easier then the bosses in Demon's Souls and Dark Souls, imo. But the game is awesome!! I think I'm enjoying it even more then D. Souls already. Anyway, they're both comparable in difficulty terms... I still get myself strongly kicked by some weak enemies when I do some mistake!

Also, how to end a battle! lol

central yharnam lamp post. go left down the stairs. kill the fatties on the lower left, go in the house, up the stairs, kill the wolves on the bridge, turn around, kill fatty, take lamp post. repeat.
Damn. That's perfect. Thank you.

nope, he uses his gun too much to just normally use the R2. I used the pillars along side of the wall to "hide" and wait for him to get close enough, then charge R2'd the shit out of him, over and over hahahahaha. Pretty much the same tactic I've seen people use against gascoigne lol.

Man I wish you could buy Blood Stone Chunks. I was stupid enough to spend them on multiple weapons and now I have two stuck at level 8 because I can't get any to drop.

From the things you said, you mustn't have reached a boss later that mentions
Rom
again. It gets even more complicated and weirder. Sure the lore is very deep.

LATE GAME SPOILERS
So I made it from where you get dropped in the unseen village after Rom to the lamp near where you end up when the guy takes you in the sack. I've done every area I'm aware of, and the enemies here are still destroying me. I even got a visceral attack on one and it didn't do a whole lot. Did I miss something or is this area supposed to be this hard?

That 2handed Axe R2 charge attack is so OP. It can even knockback bosses and does pretty good dmg.

How do I backstab? I've got
Gascoigne down to beast mode every time without healing and I use the music box I found on him but I can't seem to figure out how to get a backstab on him? I'd be having no issues if I could dish out some good damage during that short window or actually get a chance to heal.

Just got to the
Lecture Building.
This game freaks me out you guys. D:

On that note, (item spoiler)
Augur of Ebrietas
worth using?

These Chalice guys have mega health. I just landed a full charge attack and eviscerated, and the enemy survived. Needed another R2 to kill.

So how do I use the Rune Workshop Tool? What does it do?
Lets you equip runes!

3 witches when I did it.

Go to the door that required a password before.

Just got beast claws and the final boss of the dungeon
Abhorrent Beast
was tough, but fair, unlike some other bosses in this game imo. I hope there is a skill based version of the beast claws otherwise I can't make use of it :/.

Yeah, but it's also slow as shit and drains all your stamina, so you really have to time it right or you're screwed.

Getting my ass handed to me by Vicar. I'll try again tomorrow.

They basically took it out. You can stun some characters with heavy attacks and then crit, and parry others. It makes a sound.

What's with the W
itch
arena? Such a weird location compared to everything around it.

3. Everything has gone to shit in Yarhnam now and there's giant Cthulhu looking spider monsters everywhere? What happened?
Don't know about the others, but they were there the whole time. If you have high enough insight you can see them on the buildings by the Cathedral IIRC

The lore in this game is going to be very interesting when you take the end game optional areas into account.
Beat
Amelia, BSB and Witch
. What do now?

Forbidden Woods. Look for the door where someone is asking for a password, you get it from touching the skull where you beat Amelia

I never saw him use the gun unless he did the parry into an attack when I fought him normally. For me he just sped up, rolled, got knocked on his ass by R2, got up and teleported then did the same thing. It was hilarious.

I'm loving how the game lore is a mystery to everyone again. Dark Souls had been theorized to death so its refreshing :D

I know I cant wait to see what the community can piece together.

Also ill ask again. Can anyone in NG+ confirm that armor unlocked in the shop stays for purchase after you beat the game?

lol nah I just kind of do it whenever and it works. And it may drain all of your stamina, but you also only need one pixel of it to do the attack.

What axe is this ?!

How do I get to the Cleric Beast? I unlocked the shortcut in Yarnam where I can head left and see two brick ogres.

Go into the house near them and up the stairs (enemies are in the dark) then on that second floor their are stairs leading to the bridge. Cleric Beast is on the side with the ogre and crows.
