I ask again, is there any advantage to having high Insight? I am 99 in NG+ and just beat CB. I want to know for sure before spending all my Insights because if there is no advantage to having high Insight then I might as well use it.

I feel like there must be some reason to run around with high insight but I have yet to see or hear anything positive about it.

Are guns ever going to be useful outside of parrying? I want to use the new pistol
Evelyn
but the damage of guns so far is so low that I never invested any points into that stat. I know the canon is pretty OP, but I really want to try a pistol build.

I am level 28 and the last boss I killed was BSB.
Unseen city feel harder than anything before.
Am I at the right place?

Nope nope nope that happened to me too.
go up the spiral staircase all the way to the top. Skip the enemies hanging there and use the lamp to GTFO. Where you are at is an end game area.

Holy fuck I finally hit a brick wall with R
om the stupid spider
. Seriously this boss this like, "How fucking lucky are you? Let's TEST IT."

You really have two options; thin the herd and go for the kill. In the first option, it's fucking impossible to predict where those ice barrages fall even if it's telegraphed so clearly. You can dodge one, but 3 others hit you. The second option is worse, those spiders literally carpet bomb you, and they get so aplenty towards the end that's it's almost impossible to get any hits in.

I'm a little fearful to go back into the Cathedral after doing a bunch of co-op and getting insight up to around 30. For those who recently crossed that threshold, how's it going for you? I'm wondering if anybody decided to spend their insight to drop back below 15.

Well I just killed the
Witch of Hemwick
as my 4th boss. Where can I find BSB? I assume it is somewhere between Cathedral Ward and the Grand Cathedral, must have missed some sort of branching route there.

Is it still worth it to level your primary attack skill to 40? Cause I'm thinking of doing that. Getting skill to 30, really made my Cane hit much harder.
Yes, hence "soft-cap". It's a really, REALLY good idea to get your main attack skill to 50. After that, you only gain one damage per point spent.

So a patch is coming next week?

Hopefully this will sort out the framepacing.
It would be too much to hope for a load time reduction yet I suppose.

Found a weird bug, the game and trophies don't show up on my what's new feed, yet I can see trophies earned for the game from friends. I'm not sure if that's because disc vs download but yeah, my bloodborne data is not being shared.

I just finished, too. Level 95, I think.
The Gehrman fight was indeed awesome. I rarely parried throughout the game, but I went one handed with my ludwick's holy blade just for him, lol.

Yeah I got through the majority of the game without parrying. There was a boss where it helped a lot but I couldn't get the timing down.

Used it to great effect on him though.

When you think of it, Bloodborne is a biohazard game.

You got a biological device that has infected the local populace... organization conspiracy... little girls....

Even memos now!

Oh man...the
Unseen City
is pretty hard. All those
respawning mobs
are really messing with me. How can you possibly go through that area? Always killing the
bell women
first seems like a tremendous chore and everything but easy.

Any Tips?

Fucking alfred man

WOW when you give the unopened summons to Alfred he fucking demolishes Queen Annalise of Cainhurst. It's a pretty fucked up scene.

Yup, even when parrying I can't beat the
Shadow of Yharnum
. Got
two of them down one time
, but can't even come close now.

HOLY SHIT.

I dropped my insight from 30 to 10 and Amelia went down in one go. Fuck me. Thank you to the user who told me insight makes the game harder.

So. . Got to Rom
seems like beating him is just a matter of tremendous patience? Run far away, maneuver around the small spiders, hit him once or twice, rinse and repeat? There doesn't seem to be any other viable tactic. If there is, enlighten me GAF :)

Forbiden Woods
is a OCD nightmare

also, looked at my echoes...70k. this was my face basically

hqdefault.jpg

so I went ahead and used a bold hunter's mark lol

Ugh I hear ya man, I lost 50k echos there because my bloodstain on one of the bosses disspeared after I logged out and logged back in. There's like 4 paths to go here and I'm trying not to miss anything.

Kill the spiders to make it even easier. Just a test of patience. You should be able to one-shot them if you hit them from the back or side.

You kill the
bell wringing women :D
. There's two inside buildings but there's one hidden.

Go up to the area past the circle of old women to the open area where the
cthulu monster
fires beams, there's a tiny gap in the ledge to the right that will lead to the area's hidden bellwoman.

Killing the
bell women
also makes the monsters they were reviving weaker.

I'm having major problems with
Ebrietas, Daughter of the Cosmos
, feels impossible right now.
