That's really dull imo. Shooters and racer plus one stale fantasy RPG. This reads like any holiday lineup for the last 10 years on multiple platforms
To each their own. Looks fantastic to me.

Only system with a big exclusive (Halo) at this point. Sony must have something for E3, right?
Oh yeah, explains why they have released countless bundles, offers, and promotions that are borderline desperation just to become competition to PS4 (which only applies to US, as Europe has gone PS4), and it's still wiping the floor with Xbox One.
Dropping Kinect - which was supposedly an integral part of the system.
Money-hatting FIFA features in Europe, along with offering the game free at launch in 2013 did nothing.
Their profit margins were probably obliterated from bundling full releases (at the time) of Assassin's Creed Unity, and also Black Flag, along with a $50 price cut, and free games, free Xbox Live, and retailer promotions during Holiday 2014, and even now, that bundle, which includes 2 games and is $50 cheaper than the base PS4 is at 50 something on the Amazon charts and dropping, along with the MCC bundle.
What are they going to do next, because alarm bells are definitely ringing at Microsoft?
They definitely care what Sony is selling, as any corporation would, when the competition is exterminating them on a worldwide basis, and even on their home turf where they only seem to get a bit of marketshare during the Holiday season, only for it to be taken back again during the 9-10 months it's outsold by a console raking in profit and marketshare.
That's because this console generation launch was very front loaded, the X1 has no chance whatsoever (not even remotely) to match or exceed the 360's 85+ million sales worldwide. They are not the market leader in U.S. and even if they were they would need to completely DOMINANT U.S. for respectable worldwide sales, ain't happening. It's only a matter of time before the X1 falls behind the 360, again not if but when.
Well with technology advancing the way it is I don't think there's anyway it has as long of a lifespan I'll grant you that. The point wasn't,it will sell more units than the 360, the point was that despite all the initial negativity the console sales are a success for MS and subsequently 3rd party developers. Obviously they want to keep the momentum going, but the fact is the Xbox one and the gaming industry as a whole are very healthy.

Is xbox healthy outside us and uk?
You guys should be more concerned about Q1 2016 as Sony will have Uncharted 4 and what will MS have?
Xbox 360 wasn't and it made no difference.
This assumes Uncharted 4 hits in Spring, which we will have to wait and find out for.
If Quantum Break is delayed, then presumably that will be early 2016. Scalebound possibly, just because Sony have said one game thats delayed, MS have a few that could potentially fit that sort of release date, but until they tell us, its not like Q1/Spring 2016 is next quarter, its a year away. Ask again at Gamescom or November.
Plus Q1 2016 would be the logical slot for the Gears game if MS wants to combat Uncharted.
If MS had Gears and QB for Q1&2 of 2016, wow.

I would not expect Gears 4 until the holiday, Black Tusk should get plenty of time to make it.
This is getting old, they sold less than the ps4, period. They did everything they could and only outsold in a single area, and not enough to even overtake the competition WW.

They dominated US and UK, that's a big difference.

They did so over Sony; not overall though.
The Xbox One is currently on track to making up the same percentage of North American current gen console sales as its predecessor (Xbox 360) during its gen -- possibly even a little bit more thanks to Nintendo's huge drop.
2) "Exterminating" is something you might read in an old Nazi Propaganda Book, but we are talking about one company selling more units of a similar product than the competition. Both companies still exist, so it's even factually wrong.
You probably don't mean it this way, but its still a very ugly word.

So you think there will be a multiple Gears games? Like Holiday 15 and 16. or do you mean if Gears doesn't make it in 2015 it will be pushed back to Q4 2016?
Microsoft operate the Xbox business as an almost exclusive holiday console. They will only release major titles between October-December, so there is little chance of the new Gears coming in spring.
What Rare is working on is going to be their ace in the hole. Otherwise Sony will continue to dominate.
Hey there, just wanted you to know:
In the US we generally associate it with getting rid of bugs. You call the exterminator if you have a bug problem.
Except it won't happen, fall 2016 is the earliest we can expect a new Gears of War game. Having QB for Q1/2 2016 means it will have to "fight" against UC4 and whatever other pubs have to offer, I can only guess that period is going to be stacked. Also, it means that the Xbox One will only have TR and Halo 5 for this holiday season and we know the new Fable won't perform like its predecessors and Halo 5 won't set the world on fire outside the US/UK, TR is still a wildcard but neither do I think its going to sell gangbusters.Plus Q1 2016 would be the logical slot for the Gears game if MS wants to combat Uncharted.

I think some of the reason for this is twofold:
1). Fall is when new TV shows air too because people are back from vacation, school is starting, and the weather is cooling off so people are looking at more inside activities.
2.) People tend to spend a lot more money in the Holiday season hearing up for Christmas witnessed by the annual Thanksgiving onslaught.
But it doesn't mean they don't release games throughout the year. Ori just released. Last year it was Titanfall. I'll curious to see when Scalebound drops.
That completes ignores all context.
The 360 dominated in NA and the UK, selling more than the Wii in both (iirc, may be wrong).
The X1 will fall behind hard and fast eventually. The first couple of years for the 360 were not all that great, plus the 360 had 9 years to get to that point, a luxury the X1 won't have.
This reminds me of Nintendo saying the 3DS was tracking ahead of the DS for the first few years like it was some big success.

The Xbox One needs its exclusives this year now that Sony is definitely lacking them in the second half of 2015 (as far as we know)
It didn't in NA during last gen's "peak" years. The Wii during its most popular years regularly outsold the Xbox 360 by double... some months even triple.
The Xbox 360 caught up to the Wii in North American sales last year (2014) when the Wii was done for for many years (thus further showing how big the Wii was in North America).
No signs of it. For it to happen (again, I'm talking about percentage because of people bringing up "overall dominance"), the PS4 would have to be selling as good as the Wii did last gen in North America. No signs of that happening.
Why? I'm not talking about numbers of consoles sold. I'm simply talking about percentage of current gen consoles since people want to bring up how the 360 dominated in NA without (for some reason) wanting to bring up the Wii.
Nintendo's huge drop will more than likely be the reason why the Xbox One will have a similar position as the Xbox 360 during its main years (2006-2012) when it comes to percentage of current gen consoles in NA -- around 35-40%
Heck, I think that's where the Xbox One is at now in North America. I believe the Wii U is around 5 Million in North America which would make close to 19 Million current gen consoles overall here.
Forza 6 won't release this holiday?
Ahhhh, okay, I get what you're saying. You're talking about the percentage of the console market they end up controlling?
For example, I'm pretty sure the 3DS will have a bigger percentage of the mobile handheld market, but that doesn't really mean much in the grand scheme of things
Forza is not significant. Its not a system seller. Especially since 2 forzas have already launched.
Are you serious? There are people who like racing games, and if you look at the racing games Sony has put out so far.... I think Forza is pretty significant, because Xbox
has the #1 and #2 rated racing games this gen.
And I expect Forza 6 to get back to the level of Forza 4 (~90 metascore).

Forza Horizon 2 pretty much bombed though. I believe it did just over 100k it's first month in NA.
Forza as a series doesn't really push Xboxes. GT5, for example, scored lower than most last Gen Forza games yet sold more than almost all of them combined
"The Microsoft first party title Forza Horizon 2 launched with sales of 366,457 units combined. The game is available for the Xbox One and Xbox 360. The majority of the sales were on the Xbox One where it sold 265,969 units. The game sold 100,488 units on the Xbox 360.
Nearly half of the sales were in the USA where it sold 176,995 units combined. The game also sold well in Europe with sales of 138,260 units."

Doesn't sound "insignificant" to me.
Can't tell how valid this source is tho. We'll have to see when GT6 comes out first.

Forza 6 wont hit 90+, this gen is harsher.
And so what if it scores higher. A next gen gt would outsell them all combined.
They compete with each other. What does GT have to do with Forza 6?
They compete with each other.
That site should never be taken seriously.
It's banned for a reason
X1 doesnt have to outsell the PS4 to be successful.
Ugh totally forgot about that, Forza hasn't been a big seller anyway, I don't think people who didn't buy a XB1 for Forza 5 or Horizon 2 are going to buy it for Forza 6. We're talking about a "defining" holiday here And Halo 5 is the only game that can make a difference (for that period at least)Forza 6 won't release this holiday?
