How do I get the option to tell the NPC hooker where to go?

So can anyone confirm that bosses can take your blood echos or that they go away if you log out of the game (or someone told me they might also go away if you return to the dream/hub area)? Would be good to know these things...

Bosses don't take your blood echoes, and they do not go away when you log off.

I'm pretty sure it's progress related. Some items opened up for me after I cleared certain bosses.

I'm level 60 and still can't buy the damm thing. I thinks it may be a glitch or something.

i always see them left on the ground even when i log off the game and go back and fight them. you just might be having a hard time seeing them cuz they're hard to see. if you don't see them anywhere, probably disappeared for some reason.

I lost 15000 echoes at blood starved beat after logging off for the night and playing again in the morning. When I came back they werent waiting for me. Do not know why.

Okay, I think these Blades of Mercy may be a bit overpowered. I just totally wrecked one of those huge hunchbacks that carry the giant axe with the dual wield and R1-R1-R1-R1-R1 combo. Took about 4 seconds.

a good weapon worth upgrading?

It is, has good scaling, has a nice moveset in both untransformed and transformed state, its charged R2 while transformed is high damage and long range. It's worth upgrading if you like it.

Going to right of the cathedral, ended up in this room with a circle/altar looking thing in the middle, tried to open a door, giant killed me, ended up in this university looking place, nightmare frontier is connected straight from there.

Apparently you need the tonsil stone for it to work.

wasn't too bad. Honestly, he was much easier than the level itself, which is hell bent on killing the shit out of you. I did a few coop runs to get the lay of the land before going in myself. I had a cooperator at first, but he died in short order. The key for me was

Yep. The new system works fine for me as well. I really like it. I've had a lot fewer failed summons compared to the previous games.

Immediately started NG+ to see how hard it would be, and already killed the first 3 bosses pretty easily in like 30 minutes. Not sure i want to keep playing, at least for now.

It's a pretty cool game, but overall, i think i still prefer Dark Souls.

What location is considered Hemwick crossing? I've got summons to Cainhurst which is really the only heading I have left, I feel as though I've gotten to everywhere I can be.

I'm also curious as to where the final umbilical cord location is? I've got one from the Wet Nurse, the woman in the clinic dropped one after I killed her (her personality/demeanor changed so I acted swiftly). Is the last one at Cainhurst or elsewhere?

Looking for a push in the right direction. I feel like going to the Great Tree is the endgame, so I'm holding off on that

It's basically the same thing except you tell the game when you want to co op and it automatically picks up the signs for you.
