LATE GAME SPOILERS
I just reached nightmare of mensis. Is there a point of no return? I want to do as much as possible before I finish and start NG+, just don't want to screw it up.

The point of no return is right before you start the last boss fight. It should be obvious to you - but I can give some hints if you'd like.

Okay, this is going to be very specific, but no plot spoiler
The point of no return is in the main hub. Theres a guy in a wheelchair in the very back, and talking to him starts your decisions.

I'm in
Iosefkas Clinic
trying to unlock Cainhurst Castle. Supposedly you get a
summons
here, but I can't find it. Anyone know what I'm supposed to do?

Posting again for a new page. Is my game bugged or am I just blind?

Awesome, thanks!

This game is getting insane.

There are so many variables to a fight like Amelia! I personally feel that if you're playing with the an upgraded starting axe/cleaver then you should be fine at around 30-35. The cane, however, takes abit of time until it becomes super viable against bosses.

It sure was fun watching your first Amelia kill Yoshi. ;)

Unseen Village is wearing me down. Fucking bells.
One tip for getting through there...

12-3-run.gif

Bells have been a complete wash for me the past 24 hours. The game having just released and the apparent popularity of it would have you thinking summons for help or to help would be happening non-stop.

Waiting over 10 mins makes me think the game needs patching or servers tweaking.

When leaving the Church head right and you'll go through the woods and eventually stumble upon a Village with an optional boss there.

The area was super easy and you get a great reward for doing it.
(Ability to use Runes)

Ok good, thanks. I saw it in the distance and worried it was the dreaded Forgotten Woods I've heard so much about.

Did you suspend bloodborne? Things seem to get wonky if you do. But ya I agree, the online is very bad compared to the other games.

So I got told about this cool bit of lore at work, having not noticed the window before I fought the second boss. I've since returned and all I get is the girl sobbing.. does this mean I've missed the opportunity to continue the story by starting it late?

I hate the feeling that I'm missing great lore by not going through every area over again every boss victory to see for different NPC reactions or missing NPCs entirely. :(

Yoshi any ideas from your numerous playthroughs? If you don't trigger a side quest at their first availability do you lose them entirely, and if so any tips (as spoiler free as possible) to avoid that happening?

Are you implying you gut gud? :D

Watch my speedrun that I'll stream tomorrow and you'll see! You don't want to miss that out.

I am the best Bloodborne-PvE-player that exists as of today.

Yes, I just said that. Feel free to quote me on that if I die on shitty stuff tomorrow :lol

Do I really have to run all the long way through the
woods
every time I fail to beat the
forbidden woods
boss?

You can open up a shortcut of sorts but it still takes about 2 minutes to run it.
Did you activate the elevator in the house where you first encounter the snake head man?

If you die and log off, apparently you can. I'm reading that around the internet (which can be all highly suspect), but I've also gone back through the area and scorched the earth. Killed everything and been to every nook. I cannot find my BEchies.

I logged off and lost mine in a boss arena. 100 percent certain. Maybe its a bug that only happens every so often. I dont know. I dont understand how people can argue that its not true, when there is clearly multiple people in this thread that this has happened to.

Thanks for the tips guys I'll keep going. I'm a persistant person and I don't give up eady so I've got that going for me I guess :D

Just wait until you get him down, the feeling is awesome since you work for it in these games. It's consistently the only series that has me literally cheering almost every time I beat a boss since most of them require some trial and error. That first time will probably have you hooked.

So I have all these weird blood gems that add arcane effects like fire damage and lighting but they are all shaped like a waning moon or half circle and when I go to modify my weapons they aren't there. Can't seem to use them on anything which sucks because they have some pretty great stat boosts too.

Apparently you can throw a numbing mist at Amelia to stop her from healing. Amazing, why didn't I think of this when fighting her.

Got shot down from above after making good progress in OY. A note warned me against going up, so I went the other way but the statues were no protection.

After Bloodborne, I'm going for Dark Souls II PS4 next month. Should I set my expectations lower? I'm freakin' in love with this game.

BB puts DS2 to shame in terms of world design, level design, atmosphere, bosses and encounters.

DS2 is not bad, BB is just a lot better with these factors.

From a game Systems or Quality-of-Life standpoint, I would argue DS2 beats the pants off BB, but many may disagree. Fast Travel is much better, Estus flasks are more player friendly than vials, multiplayer is much more user friendly and player direct.

Alright took a break for a bit and calmed myself down. Hopefully I can finish off Yah'gurl this time, if anything I'm just gonna run through that shit.
I still can't believe they brought back the level design of DeS 4-2/ DaS Catacombs. Reraising enemies can die in a damn fire.

Pretty sure you have to level your weapon higher to use those gems.

I just read the item description before the fight,
and then when I saw her clutching her amulet I automatically put two and two together mostly because I had a strong feeling that the amulet was going to do something in the battle. I was right, she heals lol.

Ok, ugh. I'm doing stuff after the BSB, went to the
Oedon church, went all the way up and the door is locked
. Can someone give me a *tiny* hint? Dont want the total answer, just a clue
