Well, I would help you since I already co-oped that area so the glitch applies to me. But matchmaking is pretty much impossible in this game.
Man, I hope when they say they are going to release a patch this week, that it MEANS this week.

well hidden shortcut
that makes the run to the boss super quick. After you unlock the elevator from the first lantern down to the area past the 3 hunters, get on that elevator and half way down jump out the window. Take a right where the wolves are and inspect the bath to teleport. Go across the bridge, ignore the bell ringer, down the ladder and you'll be at the boss

Anybody have tips for the NPC hunters? Managed to kill one by the cathedral legit, killed his bolt partner by sneaking up. Gatling gun hunter I knocked him off after he healed...

Good thing I didn't waste 10k Echoes on the Hunter Emblem that's used to unlock the gate near the Cathedral - you can open it yourself eventually. It's also a really good farming spot for Blood Echoes killing those giant Jabbawockeez looking things, there's like 5 or 6 along the way, plus a sack man who drops 2x Blood Shards or 1x Twin Blood.

At the Cathedral Ward lantern, there is a locked door on the right side. Forward and Left are open, how do I unlock this door? Presumably from the other side. Doesn't seem to connect from Old Yarnam as far as I can tell.

Bath Messenger to the left outside the door across from the fireplace in the Hunter's Dream. Need 10 insight though to access the shop.
After you kill VA the door will open. That is what happened to me.

While trying to get the Orphanage Key I think I lost like 12 Insight UGH. Luckily you get Insight really fast.

I just shot-crept up to him since he just kept spamming his Blunderbuss or Rifle-Spear shots. Only way to get close due to that ridiculous cone of fire of his.

Before the first one died, the second one started to appear but without its health bar. By the time I killed the 1st one, the second one was nearly dead so the extra summoned monsters didn't even matter. I beat that boss on my first try without taking any damage.
I like to think that's intentional as a way to fake out players.

That happened to me too, but I thought
she had just turned impervious. It seemed like she had took damage again after I quickly attacked the thing she summoned once, so I thought that was a trigger. And then a second witch popped up and I was like, oh

I have a ton of those too. I haven't used one since the beginning of the game. You get Insight so rapidly at points it seems almost pointless to even use them at this point. And if you do ever need more, you could just use your resonant bell or try an easy Chalice Dungeon for points.
Damn, guess I can't get those. I don't even know who Arianna is and I'm right at the end. And I killed Iosefka before Rom
