Can we talk about stats again?

Here's mine

Level 71

V 30
E 30
S 24
Sk 12
B 10
A 15

Is this decent? What did you do different than me? How it is it going for you?

Get your Endurance to 40 so that you cap out on Stamina. Also getting Vitality to 50 is totally worth it, you'll get a lot more HP and you'll also definitely feel the increased Defense stats.

After that get your Strength and Skill to 50, focusing more on which ever scales best with whichever weapon you have. Most weapons use both Strength and Skill. The exceptions being Blade of Mercy (Skill only) and Logarius' Wheel (Strength only). Some weapons have even scaling in both Strength and Skill, like Ludwig's Holy Sword which is B/B. Even if they have a low-ish Scaling letter though you'll still get a significant boost from having both stats leveled up.

Some weapons also use Bloodtinged for scaling in addition to Strength/Skill: Chikage (Katana), Reiterpallasch, and the Rifle Spear and it's worth raising up if you plan to use those. It's also a good stat to have for guns in general, the damage they'll do is actually okay with a high Bloodtinged stat and them being upgraded and will take a good chunk off enemies when you're going for Parries. The Cannon is also hilariously awesome when upgraded.

Edit: Forgot one stat (tired). Every weapon also has an Arcane Rating, but few actually use it unless you use Blood Gems to completely change their damage to Arcane. Blade of Mercy (B), Burial Blade (B), and Logarius' Wheel (C) all use it to increase the Arcane ATK part of their damage and Tonitrus (D) uses it to increase the Bolt ATK part of its damage. However, Arcane ATK scaling is pretty awful compared to Strength/Skill scaling and is the last stat you should worry about, imo. Unless you really, really love the Flamesprayer and Rosmarinus (Arcanesprayer).

Any advice on
blood starved best
? I have no issue with the first phase, but once he starts
spewing poison
I can't help but die.

Is there some
poison resist gear around
?

Haul ass and find the bell maidens that are causing the respawning. Then after you learn the area, haul ass down the stairs to the lamp while avoiding the laser. Now learn the next section and haul ass to the 3 hunters. Kill them, learn the rest of the area and then haul ass to the boss.
This area is abhorrent and that is the best way to get through it.
I'm here now. Made it to the 2nd lamp. Got 2 chunks from little crawling guy and hit the dream to +7 my LHB. This area is pure madness. Bout to head back in scared out of my mind. Everything wants to straight up murder me :O

Fuck those instant kill old ladies in the
prison
Takes 7 seconds to die and there's shit you can do. This game has way more grab kill bullshit.

Question about chalice dungeons. Is there anything that tells you when they are completed? I finished the first 3 levels of my first chalice dungeon and there doesn't seem to be a way to go any further. But the chalice is still there on the tombstone and I'm hesitant to remove it

Is there ANY way to fix this fucking game-breaking glitch? It's annoying me a lot.

I have 99 bullets, but the game doesn't recognize that. I can't take them out of the storage (bullets doesn't show up) and I have to manually fill up on ammo by buying them from the store each time I die. They don't refill when I die.

Nothing there yet. I have yet to encounter her at the ward, where she will supposedly speak about
her mark, the hunter of hunters
.
Never saw her there.
Only when she was fighting the other guy in the place you fought Father Gascoigne.

GAF i accidently killed the old lady in the church.......

The creepy dude said he felt like it was his fault so i smacked him and he started crying and saying please stop i know its my fault hahaha.

I really suck at this game, got no clue what im doing or missing out on stuff.

Also the first armor set that you can buy seems the best vs the rest am i right?

From yesterday's session, managed to one shot.

Was expecting some kind of poison hellspawn boss after going through the "snakepit" area so I was decked out in full poison resist + a rune, was something else so to say.

Once you have beaten the three levels you are done. Remove the Chalice as it's finished, only Chalice's with ROOT in the title are randomly generated.

Fuck it. I bought the key... I remembered that echoes aren't even needed in this playthrough.

I've found the game's version of crystal lizards. They're like small, deformed imps with many heads.

there are similar creatures to the crystal lizard. Some little goblins (or better imps, thanks Manu) running away (they don't attack). You get at least twin blood stones from them.

Sweet, glad to hear.

No secret walls like in DS1 & 2?

There are slightly bigger versions of them that do fight back. The small ones usually give a normal blood stone, sometimes a twin, the bigger ones usually give me a twin or 2x twin.

where do you even go after killing bsb?
ive unlocked that other churchy bit with all the shooting but dont know where to go from there

Thank you. I'm gonna save what you wrote on my phones notes so I can reference it later.

There area where you wake up, after you
got kidnapped
, how do I open the second door at the lamp?
Killed the boss already.

Fuck I think I accidently killed
Patches the spider. I thought he was a regular enemy spider so I didn't give him the time of day and just attacked him on sight. I then realized he was an NPC when he said his dying words. He said I'm not merciful or something like that.

Well it's not my fault you're a fucking spider blocking the way!

(I'm a heartless murderer, I know..)

just got to Brygenworth.
Holy fucking shit my pants Batman. The creatures here are horrific. What do I do about that massive scorpion thing behind the building?

Beat the game and I think I discovered most everything, except this:

In Cathedral Ward, near the bottom, there is a chest where you have to go down some stairs into a tunnel. There are a bunch of vases in that tunnel then it changes direction to small nook with the chest. On the left side of that chest is a locked door. How do you open it?
