Looks like i'm stuck. Help me !
I've beaten:

Cleric beast
Father Gascoigne
Blood-Starved beast
DarkBeast Paarl.

Dont know where to go now...

Just discovered something.

If you drop a ton of souls at a boss or some other place. Shut down the system and relaunch bloodborne. The souls will be in the hallway in the lecture hall right after you leave the lantern area. It works every time.

Never lose 50k souls again! :D

That beak...

Reminds me of medieval doctors.

It's a Plague doctor mask. They were also seen in Assassin's Creed 2.

Ugh. Really wanted to try out the bell thing for the third boss. Couldn't log into PSN all night. So that's a wash. Maybe tomorrow.

How does the Frenzy debuff work? I am walking around the
nightmare frontier
with full health and then instant death start over so cheap...

Any decent
nightmare frontier
guides?

I think I have a glitch

I'm using a rune that gives me +4 bullets but everytime I start my game up I only have 20 even though I had 24 when I quit

Then I return to the hub and it refills to 24 but I see it took the 4 out of my storage

I didn't notice this for a long time and was shocked to learn that all of a sudden I had 30 less bullets in my storage than I thought. Really damn annoying

The boss you mentioned also glitched on me. Sucks since I saw people having issues fighting him, I'll probably get wrecked on NG+ since I have no idea what he actually can do.

I didn't fight him at all in my first run - this was NG+.

And yeah, if that wasn't a glitch, than he's REALLY easy. The parry is so simple to pull off. Just dodge his initial ranged blast, then bait the swipe. You can work out the timing from that one swing.

Get close again and parry with what you've learned. Visceral. Parry. Visceral. Etc.

It was the same thing I did with the 'final' boss. The system seems abusable outside of the glitches even. Feels good though, even if a little cheap. Counters trivialize a lot of enemies, which I guess is the point. But almost to an embarrassing degree for some.

Thanks bud!

I've had two end-game bosses not move onto their second stage or vary their attacks. Even one of the optional ones,
Master Logarius
, I just beat by parrying his right over-head swipe and getting visceral attack after visceral attack. As soon as I'd get in range, he's just repeat his easily deflectable move over and over again. Rinse and repeat.

It's a little underwhelming that it's resulted in making a few bosses a complete cakewalk.
Something similar happened to me with Father G. He was the first boss I fought, so I went a little nuts on him and managed to almost kill him (left him with around 100 HP left, just a tiny bit left)
without him going beast-mode
. I got quite a surprise when I went back to fight him later, to say the least.

These three fucking hunters... It's like trying to fight three red eye kights at once at level one in Demon's to progress. How many of you cheesed this and hid behind an entrance or staircase lol.

No need for cheese on this one, well unless you call separating them cheese.
Clear out the area, including bell maiden, before you run into them. Sneak up on claw guy and backstab him. Then run back the way you came, if you get all the way up the stair to that plaza you should have claw guy by himself. Murder him, do the same for cane guy except on the lower plaza.
Makes the fight easy.

Just beat it. Fuck.....what a game. Up there w/ DeS and DaS as one of my favorites ever.

Can't decide if I wanna just jump into a NG+ or start a new character for my next playthrough.

Which boss is that anyways?

Amygdala - one of the Cthulu looking spiders. You also get her cool looking area, the Nightmare Frontier. Only daytime environment in the game. And it's good practice for a certain high-tier normal enemy that you'll fight later who also shows up here.

Okay I'm almost finished my first playthrough on my second character - enjoying my SKL/ARC build much more with Blades of Mercy & Chikage currently (replacing with Burial).

Ending spoilers:

Seems my first character was bugged, because I had extremely easy bosses (even Gerhman), seeing him have different phases is pretty damn cool, and really tough. Almost got him down.

feels fucking good to kill a boss with a parry and riposte. One thing I like about the bosses in this game, is that most of them have attacks that can be parried.

Yeah, I think there's something weird with the AI as I got into loops with the NPC hunters a lot where they would keep doing the same exact thing after I hit them.

I managed to find 3 runes in that area, so explore everywhere and keep your eyes peeled.

As for the terrain:
equip the Black Church Set for max poison resistance. You can use antidotes if you get poisoned, but I find it easier to just heal up with vials when necessary and run through the poisonous parts. You can skip fighting the squid things. Once you open the shortcut, which is past some rock throwing giants, it's easier. From the lantern, take the shorcut, then cross the bridge to the other side, go across a poison pond and into a small passage guarded by a giant. After that, I keep dying to a brain demon-thing, so I don't know what's next.

And regarding Frenzy:
The Ashen Hunter Set has the best Frenzy resistance out of all the sets I own. And I don't have it yet, but I hear there's a rune in Forbidden Woods that gives 200 Frenzy resistance.

Cheers to everyone for the replies.

Just found out the dudes that haves Las Plagas on their head are ones summoning the little snakes so killing them fast made it easy.

Giant snakes can still get fucked though, specially those two that are guarding that item

Anyway, the atmosphere in the forest is SO good, From really outdid themselves with the atmosphere in this game

Believe me, that boss can be pretty tough to solo when he goes through his normal progression and gets his full attack scheme going. I fought both versions... Died a ton to him and then one attempt I had the version you mention with the same attack over and over. Disappointed because I came close multiple times to beating him normally but kept dying before I could kill him off.

Does anyone know where I can find NPC dialog?
Alternatively, can someone help bring closure? to this NPC quest line for me.

NPC Name -
Eileen the Crow
NPC Quest details -
After many tries I finally killed that annoying Hunter in the Grand Cathedral. What a fight. Like all things Bloodborne the key for me was to be more aggressive. Trying to play defensively just doesn't have any benefits. Anyway I was feeling pretty good about the win and accidentally clicked through some of Eileen's dialog. She said something about a choice. "The choice is yours." What choice?

I'm zoning in from the Yahar'gul Chapel lamp. The Hypogean Gaol lamp is limp and flaccid so it looks like I have to take the long way.

The one who was in the house that a dog was in front of? I rescued her and she still refused to talk to me. Now she just buries her face in her hands and cries.

Visit her again and she'll be in a different demeanor. That's when she hands them out. Made me feel better about rescuing her, lol

She changes from crying and bitching to being helpful? This is the old woman sitting in the chair, close to the left hand exit, right?
