I only finished like 80% of DS2 but I loved the early levels, the co-op, and the PvP. BB is a great single player game but the co-op and PvP is terrible compared to the other games.

The shortcut can be found in
the kinda large village you stumble into pretty early on, before all that snake business. There is a small cave to the left side, where you find a bunch of those dog cages. There, you'll find an underground poison lake with Giants and giant worms. There is a ladder there, off to the left, that gets you back right near the beginning, behind that one gate you see right after you step outside the clinic.

I saw a really deep drop but could still tell there is a floor..
Threw a couple of shining coins, it didn't made that weird sound (like on dark souls) so I was like okay it seems like a safe drop.
Then I jumped down..
now I know shining coins isnt meant to be used for that.

Remember the part with the
dogs in the cages? It's around there. There's also a window NPC that gives you a fancy item (if you haven't grabbed that yet)
Not kidding, say it rubbed off easily/got messed up easy. In reality, you dont know, but chances are it was the controller. The launch ones analogs are notorious for literally wearing down to hell for no apparent reason.

Nah, that is a thing that happens when you go forward in the story.
The nun going berserk is another matter.

Since it is very close to the first lamp, you only lose like 15-20 seconds of running in comparison in the beginning and that lamp will be the one you will be using when you start getting the shortcuts anyway.

You need an upgrade to your work shop to equip runes. Kill the Witches (if I remember right) and you'll be able to do it
Through the village in the forgotten woods where some hounds are in pens, there is a pathway that will take you to a cave. Go through the cave (careful, giants and poison) and get to the ladder, climb up it, and end up somewhere interesting)

sorry dude. i think it's best to summon near the boss gate, tho.
There is a boss you need to shwack first. You'll eventually get a tool to equip them in the Hunter's Dream. You'll find the boss
when you go right from the grand cathedral, past the forrest area to a place called Hemwick charred lane or something like that. Keep going that way, and you'll eventually stumble to the boss, Witch of Hemwick.
Try to hard close the app and retry since resuming from rest seems to mess with online. If that still doesn't work it's because whatever the hell Bloodborne uses to match up blows, even with a password it can take awhile to match.

I can honestly say I'm addicted to Chalice dungeons, it's like doing rifts in Diablo, it never gets old. Oh and drops on Depth 5 with offerings are just fantastic, top tier runes and gems are totally worth the time and trouble

You need a Workshop Tool to use the Memory Altar in Hunter's Dream. It can be found in the area left of VA's entrance. You'll have to defeat a boss first.
I think the last patch fixed this? Don't ask me though, I just run support in this thread nowadays :V

Farm the blue eyed werewolves at the Upper Cathedral ward.
There are two other mobs with rare drop chunks.
The gargoyles at Cainhurst (very rare, never seen one myself) and the lone giant in the 2nd floor of the Lecture building.
