I feel like I am missing something in C
ainhurst Castle. I beat the crown dude on the roof, is that all there is? Seemed pretty short to me.
 
as someone who is going to be using mostly
Blade of Mercy and Burial Blade
for pvp im wondering i should i put my secondary points into bloodtinge (to
use Evelyn)
or put them into arcane (to use
Old Hunters Bone
and get the very minor damage boost from arcane scaling)

Reposting this, any feedback appreciated

I only finished like 80% of DS2 but I loved the early levels, the co-op, and the PvP. BB is a great single player game but the co-op and PvP is terrible compared to the other games.

The shortcut can be found in
the kinda large village you stumble into pretty early on, before all that snake business. There is a small cave to the left side, where you find a bunch of those dog cages. There, you'll find an underground poison lake with Giants and giant worms. There is a ladder there, off to the left, that gets you back right near the beginning, behind that one gate you see right after you step outside the clinic.

. I thought so too when I went there and saw all the blood in front of the chair. However!
I just went through Gascoigne's area and found her sitting in a chair in the sewer section beneath the library underneath the Cathedral
.
 
I saw a really deep drop but could still tell there is a floor..

Threw a couple of shining coins, it didn't made that weird sound (like on dark souls) so I was like okay it seems like a safe drop.

Then I jumped down..

now I know shining coins isnt meant to be used for that.

Remember the part with the
dogs in the cages? It's around there. There's also a window NPC that gives you a fancy item (if you haven't grabbed that yet)

The nun going berserk is another matter.

Happy news :) Since it is very close to the first lamp, you only lose like 15-20 seconds of running in comparison in the beginning and that lamp will be the one you will be using when you start getting the shortcuts anyway.
 
So apparently
Eileen the Crow
is bugged? I spoke to her a while back at CW, but now when I go to Tomb of Odeon, shes not there. I have killed all the bosses before

. Is there any way to fix this, or am I screwed?
 
Damn. Just took a few shots at BSB. Had home down to about 1/10 health before I fell to
poison
that I didn't realize was happening. Now I'm out of fire paper and bullets.

So it goes.

Through the village in the forgotten woods where some hounds are in pens, there is a pathway that will take you to a cave. Go through the cave (careful, giants and poison) and get to the ladder, climb up it, and end up somewhere interesting)

There is a boss you need to shwack first. You'll eventually get a tool to equip them in the Hunter's Dream. You'll find the boss
when you go right from the grand cathedral, past the forrest area to a place called Hemwick charred lane or something like that. Keep going that way, and you'll eventually stumble to the boss, Witch of Hemwick.
The rune tool is just past the boss room.
 
Any idea why my friend and I can't co op? We're using the same pass and are at the same spot. He's level 21 and i'm level 26.

Try to hard close the app and retry since resuming from rest seems to mess with online. If that still doesn't work it's because whatever the hell Bloodborne uses to match up blows, even with a password it can take awhile to match.

Martyr Logarius
under 5% health but got stuck and died.

Any good suggestions for where I can grind blood stone chunks? Just got my holy blade up to +7, need a lot more to get to +9.
 
I can honestly say I'm addicted to Chalice dungeons, it's like doing rifts in Diablo, it never gets old. Oh and drops on Depth 5 with offerings are just fantastic, top tier runes and gems are totally worth the time and trouble :)

I think the last patch fixed this? Don't ask me though, I just run support in this thread nowadays :V

Copy/pasta from my post a few pages back:

Get your discovery as high as you can. Use the two 'Eye' runes.
Farm the blue eyed werewolves at the Upper Cathedral ward.
Kill all 5, then port back using bold hunter marks. They have the chunks as rare drops. Easily the best area due to the concentration of mobs in a relatively small area, no additional enemies you need to fight (beside one squidface who may join the fun when you're dealing the the initial trio.

There are two other mobs with rare drop chunks.
The gargoyles at Cainhurst (very rare, never seen one myself) and the lone giant in the 2nd floor of the Lecture building.
 
Taking a break after finding and dying to
Amygdala
a couple times.

Which boss should I tackle for now? I have these two available that I've found so far:

Blood starved Beast
three dudes in the forest

No spoilers, plz
 
I'm level 74 fighting the triplets in Forbidden Forest. Been farming like crazy. I'm dominating with 45 insight as well.

Btw, I killed that punk bitch Alfred upon our first encounter. How much of the game did I fuck up? Please no specifics.
