The flash twitter account just posted the wondercon trailer which is an extended version of the trailer we got at the end of the last episode with even more new scenes added.

Here's the youtube link

His connection with the Speed Force was severed. Time travel is tied to his mastery over Speed Force.
If I'm not mistaken, Blackout was able to drain Speed Force from Flash because, in this series, Speed Force is "the lightning," which is just electricity, and Blackout drained the electricity from Barry. The thing was that he drained too much and blew himself out, but likely, since they treated him like a battery, his blood probably held onto some charge.

I'm not saying it's impossible that Eobard is trying to synthesize some way to incorporate Blackout's abilities into himself. It's possible. But if his and Barry's and/or Blackout's blood type are not compatible with his, then it'd be hard to incorporate into his own abilities.

Otherwise, I'm not sure what your point is.

Well, aside from quoting the wrong snippet of your post, I'm not even sure what I was trying to say. Blackout kind of throws a wrench into the gears, I guess.

Totally hyped for the rest of the season! The new Wondercon trailer was great - didn't really more than what has been shown in the other trailers, but extended a couple of the scenes. Can't wait for everything to pan out.

A "different" timeline next season might be cool, kinda like Fringe. But how would it work for the shared Arrowverse? I'd assume Arrow wouldn't be affected, right?

so since they're still filming does that mean nothing in the trailer is from the finale?

It's either the 22nd or 23rd, I've lost the website which has that information.

The word vibe is probably the most important though.
It sounds like Killer Frost and Vibe could be happening at the end of this season.

With how hard they want to push cross overs I'm not sure that will happen.

I'm hoping they back off on the crossovers with Arrow after this season. I like Arrow and all, but too many crossovers can hurt both shows. They've done a few already
, and they're about to do a few more
and I don't want it to get out of hand.

There's more crossovers planned, it's going to be yearly at least. Then there's the team up show. Accept it, love it or go the way of Deadshot.

Or I could not do any of those things.

I don't mind a crossover once in awhile, but I'm talking like 4 a season. That shit is ridiculous.

As it stands, comic book shows are reaching an incredible high. However, if there is ever going to be a show that will burst this bubble and kill it hard, that crossover show (whatever the fuck it even is) will be that show. It's too much, and the more news that comes out, the more I realize that it's a real show, and it's coming.

Yeah let's blow you up.

OMG, for some reason I never knew Caitlin's last name. So the obvious connection never clicked

Oh my fuck! Would have been the most amazing reveal for me but I'VE RUINED IT!

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!

Crossovers are hell to shoot. They already have tight schedule. You won't see the heroes crossing over more than once or twice a year. And even will probably be limited to one big role and one small appearance. Beyond that what will be crossing is secondary characters.

What's really wrong with that? Looking at how they did it so far you don't need to follow both Flash and Arrow to know what's happening. I doubt this will change. Crossovers will just be nice guest starring characters.

The problem with crossovers in comics are the events, where to learn the whole story you need to buy like twenty series. This won't happen on tv

I know it's probably just because of the supposed metahuman that can take on other people's forms, but
I want to believe... in Snow Barry.

today I learned there's a plan to make a Flash movie with Ezra Miller as the Flash.

Yeah, the announced it a week after the TV series premiered and the CW was announcing record ratings for it, it seemed like some petty bullshit rival divisions would do.

Yeah, they were working on 21 or at the script reading stage a few weeks ago, they're either doing the finale now or the episode before at this point. Speaking of cross overs it could fit well if they went with the
H.I.V.E. Angle
from the comics of how she gets her powers since Arrow seems to be setting them up for next season if not sooner.

She sure is pretty enough to play Disney princess :)

I'm assuming
Killer Frost will be a temporary state for Caitlin. The comic version had to kill or get blasted by Firestorm on a pretty regular (daily?) basis to survive. She'll probably turn killer Frost, get cured by the end of the episode, then the mantle will fall to another Killer Frost later.

So the
crossover team up against reverse flash isn't even the end?
That seems crazy to me. What crazy stuff could they possibly do in the finale?

Heroes doesn't even have an amazing first season. It is an overhyped first season that worked because no show had done superheroes like this.

Nah, I liked that season and the super-powers had almost nothing to do with it.

It had a real nice flow and tension, and Hiro's story felt really fresh.

As we saw in the promo
the footage from the crossover teamup has already had effects applied to it, the set photo might have not leaked the day it was actually shot. My guess is the finale will be something personal with Barry and involve time travel and his mother. As much as we may love Arrow and Firestorm the name of the show is The Flash and it's his story. Looking at the episode titles it could be as early as episode 19 or 20. Ep 20 I don't think we know anything about.

btw
Emily Kinney's Bug Eyed Bandit looks awful haha

Heroes S1 had Sylar. Sure, he later got sucky, but S1 Sylar is a Tier 1 tv supervillain. Up there with Slade or Reverse Flash.

Let's not forget the REAL centerpiece:
Grodd
.

Which I'm guessing will be episode 19.
Then I'm betting Grodd is the s2 Big Bad. They've built him up way too much to be a one and done recurring villain.

Episode 21 - "
Grodd Lives
".
I have a feeling they might have shot some of the episode out of order to accommodate for Grodd CGI as we keep seeing the one shot of Joe and Grodd over and over rather than any new footage from the episode.

Also the S2 big bad:
When asked about what villains we will see in Season 2, Kreisberg said Mirror Master, Doctor Alchemy, and "one that hopefully people will lose their minds over."

Since we're talking about
Grodd

I'm hella hyped to see
Eiling return, will be interesting to see what happened/will happen to him after his meeting with Grodd.
